GM's thread about nothing (41 Viewers)

Hi.

I can't keep up here anymore, so daily updates would be appreciated.

Had the gum grafting surgery tuesday. The pre-procedure valium they prescribed me didn't do ####. The first part of the procedure was horrible, so they ended up giving me a halcion to calm my ### down. Recovery is okay. I just can't eat much or drink which is making me grumpier than usual.

Took my son to pediatrician this morning for some occasional stomach pains. The doctor thinks it may be behavioral-linked based on some concerns we have for him. #### me. My wife has a lot of guilt about the way things are around here because of her head headaches, but I know my mood and temper has been pretty bad lately when she is not feeling good and I have to come home from a full day of work and do everything. This is really heartbreaking and depressing for me.

Sorry, back to the fun you guys were having.
:(

I have a cavity that hurts like hell but don't have dental insurance, so I'm just dealing with the pain. Probably need to fix it, but am terrified at what might fall out when I finally do see a dentist. Money's be tight.
My dental "insurance" is a joke. Max $1000 coverage a year. I probably need about 20 teeth grafted, but am going to split if up over 4 years.

Eat a ####, Shuke.

I meant "stay strong, buddy".

Stupid autocorrect.
Go screw yourself.

Oh, sorry. I meant go fuck yourself.
Totally uncalled for.
Bull####, but I deleted the post.

You can't even pretend to give a #### about something around here without making a joke about it first.

I get it, that's what you come here for. And usually I do too. But sometimes you just gotta say, "I'll let this one go".

Can't tell if this ifight is real or not.
Call it what you want. But when I come here to spill something as personal as my son transforming some internal behavioral issues to a physical ailment, the last thing I want to see is "eat a ####".

Whatever, I am really cranky now so yuck it up at my expense. I'm out of here.

My wife got that gum surgery, it seemed absolutely brutal. I tried to PM you my condolences, Shuke, but your box was full.

I think he was just trying to joke around and make a funny. Obviously, it missed the mark with you as that will happen sometimes with mixed generations. There's not a person on the internet that doesn't think the world of you. Sorry things are bad for you right now, but they'll get better. I mean...look no further than Abe. One day at a time he's crawling out of some pretty bad funk. Course if one week at a time was an option, he'd still choose one day at a time.

:lmao:

Sorry about your son, wife, gums, etc. It all sounds like it truly sucks, but it will get better.

Yep, back to suicides and lost pregnancies.
There's always breathing to discuss.
:finger:

I don't know what to do here. I mean....there is the old 'never bench your stud' debate, but he's been less than studly and faces a really tough team (though Lynch was a good play last week against SFO, which had more to do with this 3 TDs than his yardage).

Also, what do we do at WR? I have Cruz and Boldin in there, but your boy Jones has been terrific. Tannehill has outplayed Newton.

Still can't believe you drafted Mark Sanchez. What's the matter with you?
Week 3 and you are benching your #1 pick??
He was traded this week. Three practices and he is ready for the 49ers? :oldunsure:

OTOH, Bilal Powell stinks on ice.
If my choices to start this week were Trent Richardson or Bilal Powell, I would start Natrone Means.

Explain this to me. The thought is that something is bothering shuke's kid, so he started acting out (the behavioral issues) and is now, instead, internalizing it to the point that it's causing him physical discomfort? Or am I misunderstanding all that?

Regardless, I hope things improve for you and the family, shuke.

I have been on level 65 of Candy Crush for about 3 weeks. I figured I just wasn't applying myself so I did a little research. It would appear level 65 stumps some people for MUCH MUCH longer than 3 weeks.
Hard-earned hint (along with some internet research): do NOT buy extra anythings. Stay on the same level and fail at it; the racks get easier.

Little 'Zooks is getting his tonsils and adnoids taken out tomorrow. I'm not sure what the hell adnoids are or what they do. Regardless I look forward to posting about it tomorrow and having Old Man Tanner telling me to eat a ####. I love him. And Shuke. And the hot Mrs. SLB. And Jenny Dell.

85% of kids get adenoids. It's nothing to be ashamed of.

Cool! He's going to have a really high singing voice now!

My buddy has a 19 month old boy. He keeps trying to say "pizza" but it comes out "#####." It's gonna be fun taking this kid to the bar.

I'm not nearly so stressed about the move back as I was about the move here (a lot less work), but at T-30 hours I am getting a bit upset. Totally good with the decision to move back, but the stress of trying to pack up all this ####, three flights back and forth in 48 hours, and dealing with Nicaraguan and US customs with these cats has me pretty down. Seems petty in light of Imp's news, but good wishes are appreciated.
I probably missed it, but what city did you choose?
Haven't yet. Going to Atlanta initially because it's easiest (nonstop flight from Managua) and will stay in a hotel there about six weeks while deciding where to go from there.
Damn. Things must have been pretty bad if you just want out without a destination instead of staying in the house for 6 more weeks while figuring things out.
 No, we really can't figure it out from here. I don't know a lot about Atlanta and want to check it out more--see some real neighborhoods and such. Same with New Orleans, Austin or other spots in consideration.

I also wanted to get back more quickly as one of my jobs would like me to travel to NY some, which is a bit of a pain from here.
Or did you call the vacuum man because you're on the run from Mayorga and his goons.

Can't tell if this ifight is real or not.
I was making a joke(s)
Sorry I overreacted. I'm just concerned about my son. I really don't get into a lot of the details here about my life. I know I've talked about my wife's headaches, but you guys hear about 5% of it. By the time I get on here at the end of the day, I really don't have the energy to get into ####, and just want to laugh at stupid stuff. To make it worse I often don't have times to peruse an entire day of the stuff you guys post here, so I don't know what time of bad crap I'm missing in other peoples' lives and don't feel right to dump my crap here.

I'm going to go have a percoset and a Carnation instant breakfast powder milkshake.

He is acting out some, exhibiting some behaviors not normal for him. But he is also complaining that his stomach hurts some times, usually during physical activity. His doctor thinks he is manifesting some type of worry as this physical issue. Who knows, maybe it's just constipation. But we have to fill out a boatload of paperwork, have his teachers fill some out, and then go see the doctor again next week.

Thanks all for the kind words. I'm not looking for pity, just want to talk some of this #### out.

Huh. Never knew Abe was a broad.
lolz...my wife, MIL and Kellen all play that game. I've threatened to join in on the action but each one of them has laughed and told me 'no...it's just not for you'. :bag:
Yeah, chicks love this stuff for some reason. And Abe, Frosty and Rude apparently.
Awful.

Hang in there shuke. Keep getting things off your chest.

If each of us had a dollar for a mis-timed, ill-advised post, well, we'd have $1. Way to go Tanner.
