Cat pooped and vomited on the way to the airport. We stopped at the parking lot and did our best to clean up because, good Girl Scout that I am, I'd brought extra carrier liners just in case. Then same cat peed all over us when we had to take him out to go through security.

My wife's birthday was yesterday. Next week is the San Antonio Rodeo cookoff. My BIL - who competes in the cookoff - is coming to town to cook for the wife's BDay get together tomorrow and to get one more practice run in. Said cooking includes a 15 foot bbq trailer that makes my entire neighborhood smell amazing and is like a bat-signal for people to walk over and get some food and beers. I put the flatscreen out front to watch football. A good time is had by all.

And it has been raining for 12 hours. Stupid rain.

The kids went back to homeroom to vote. We use Scantron ballots. Not one but two of the 14 year olds in my class used a pen to fill out their Scantrons. One of the two of them actually used a blue highlighter.

When are you coming, where do you want to stay?

Nov 14th to the 18th. Probably looking to stay near the French Quarter but only because I have no idea where else to go. Hotels look like they are mostly $300/night and up.
