Angrywife updated her Facebook photo to make it a picture of the boys instead of her. I told her that everyone was going to assume that she got fat since only someone too ashamed to show their face would go with anything other than their own photo on FB. She was moderately ofended but I'm right aren't I?

do you hate vaagina?

Thanks, guys.

Really oddly, when we were at lunch today, to try to put things in perspective I talked about how some people deal with their kid having cancer, and I had bigbottom in mind. Then I got back from the vet and saw his thread. I don't even think I can post in there as I have no words.
:(

Want some lobster pets?
Homer or Zooks probably have some crabs they can give you.

K4, sorry about the cat. We had a dog growing up and having him put down was one of the hardest things for my family to do.

Drifter, I would agree iwth Homer and TRE. Go on an abreviated trip, pick the two days that you most want to do. You said your mom won't be cleared to fly until Tuesday. If you go for the weekend you will still be back in time to help out. If your life will be as busy/hectic over the next 3 months as you say, you need this time to recharge for yourself and your family.

I have a feeling that before the night is over, she's going to update her status to "It's complicated."

100%

Also, I am very sorry for all the life problem/ suckiness that is running rampant in this thread. A lot of good people catching some bad breaks. Just a full range of no good things, from annoying to heart breaking. I hope stuff gets better as fast as possible.

:lmao: :lmao: :lmao:

had never seen that before
GDammit. THEY TOLD ME TO COME UP WITH SOMETHING 'CATCHY'. I HAD LIKE 2 MINUTES TO THINK ABOUT IT. I HATE YOU PEOPLE.
Do you have a digital copy of the actual commercial?
I don't even have a digital copy of the episodes I was on any more. :sadbanana:
Nice redacting job.
wat
Well,

your name is scratched out in red twice, except right underneath your picture.
What picture?
Maybe I am missing something.

You're probably missing that I've pointed out multiple times that I created the picture.

Good news front: got my stitches out yesterday.

I remember reading about other brave souls who opted to have the graft taken from the roof of their mouth describing the post-op pain as "like when you burn the roof of your mouth but a little worse". Actually, it feels like SOMEONE TOOK A ####ING SCALPEL AND SLICED UP THE ROOF OF YOUR MOUTH.

On the positive news front, my niece (my brother's kid) that is 2 and has neuroblastoma has finished her 6 months of chemo, she no longer has any cancer in her neck or skull and recently had surgery to remove the large tumor in her abdomen. Thanks to the chemo the abdominal tumor was reduced enough that it was safe enough to go in without affecting her kidneys (it starts in the adrenal gland) and the surgery went very well.

On the 10th she undergoes a stem cell infusion and has to basically be in a bubble type environment for a month. Assuming all goes well that is the last of her treatment and she can live a fairly normal (except for her strange uncle) happy life.

I don't normally share this type of thing on the interwebs, although many of you know from chatting/texting/facebook. I'm hopeful my family, especially my brother and mother, can return to a fairly normal life by winter.

Probably from stress on my gums due to clenching and grinding for years. Dipping probably didn't help, but the area of my gums in my go-to dip spot aren't worse than other areas.

Awesome TRE, very glad to hear some good news today!

On a scale of 1-10, how gay (no offense Stu) am I.

I just got booted out of the living room into the bedroom so Mrs. TF can watch Grey's Anatomy on the DVR. I'm now, laying in our bed, with the covers on, laptop over the covers, watching SJSU/USU (hoping for the over) drinking cheap white wine.

:heeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeyyyyyyyyyyyyyyy:

Great news Tre!

And way to go TRENiece.

In other good news, we're doing a Pedal Pub for my parents' 40th anniversary tomorrow which means I'll be hammered by 4 but probably keep drinking until 4.

Cal's psychologist asked me tonight if I thought if I thought Cal had a real concept of death. "You know, have you ever had a pet die or something?"

It was like that scene in My Couisin Vinny when Lisa replies about why she knew a lot about cars.

Doctor = :oldunsure:

JFC :lmao:
