Heading to Albert oaks in a couple hours. Lamenting that all of you won't be there.
Give cos a big ol' hug from me, please.
+1
Is there a real expectation that colin's going to hug cos? Are you hoping he will but secretly wondering if he will go through with it like when you ask a guy to put 20 on black when he goes to vegas and he says, I played it and you lost, sorry. Or is this just a throwaway expression like when someone says how are you and you're like, actually its been a pretty rough day, but explaining it to you would just add to the list of things I was forced to talk about and didn't want to, so #### it, I'm fine. Or if there is a real obligation, is it expected that next time you see cos, you will also hug him? Because otherwise, why not say, hey cool, you're going to albert oaks? Blow cos for me while you're there. And don't forget to tickle his taint a little, he likes that. Why set the line at hug? Do you really think cos is saying, the only thing that would ge better than a hug from abe right now is a hug from uruk. If I were cos I might be a little offended that all you asked him to bring was a hug. It doesn't cost you anything. There's no repercussions for you. You might as well ask for the full monty and see if a story develops.

I talked my way out of camping last night.

However, they accidentally booked two troops for the same park so there were kids freaking everywhere. The other troop had one of those big boxes of chips from a warehouse store. They had Fritos in there. Dylan wanted Fritos. I told him no because they weren't ours. The rest of the day he pretended to be with the other troop in hopes of getting some wonderful deep fried salted corn. He put a solid 3 hours in. I even found him in the front row of some fire ceremony they were performing. This ####### kid. :lmao:

Yeah there is, because both are my friends.

SLB and RFW--

amazing acts of kindness. thank you for what you did for BB and his family.
I think I missed something. What did they do?
from Chance thread:

I know a number of you have suggested that the FFA come up with something special or helpful for Chance. Well, a couple of our FFA brethren have come through in a big way.

As you may be aware, Chance is a big Houston Texans fan, and his favorite players are Andre Johnson and JJ Watt. And as many of you know, rabidfireweasel is an amazing artist with a big heart. Yesterday, we received a really cool painting of Andre Johnson in action hurdling a defender after making a reception. What a really cool thing for RFW to do (I'm sure it took a long time) and Chance really, really liked it. We're going to frame it, and it will likely end up in his younger brother Clay's room. Thanks so much RFW for such a meaningful gift.

Others of you know that St. Louis Bob is one of the best guys around. Just a genuinely good person. Well, SLB reached out to his contacts, and I don't know how many mountains he had to move, but today Chance received a personalized video from JJ Watt. Chance was sleeping (he's on low dose morphine now), but as soon as I started to play the video, he perked up and had a smile on his face throughout the entire video. It was absolutely clear that Chance recognized JJ and understood everything he said. And that smile was worth the world to me.

I couldn't have asked for two more meaningful gestures to bring happiness to my son during this difficult time. Thanks to you both, from the bottom of my heart. And sincere appreciation and heartfelt gratitude to my good friends here in the FFA for your kind words, continued support and offers of assistance. This is a special place. Don't let anyone tell you otherwise.

Thanks for this. Such classy gestures. I am honored and humbled to call these two fine men my friends.

It was from all of us, guys. You are all a bunch of special people that have stepped up time and time again. It just happened to be my turn.
No, it really was just you, Bob.
:lmao:

Man I wish I would have gotten laid this morning.
Bob - send me a text. For some reason I didn't save your number correctly after we talked a couple weeks ago.
You're going to get him laid?
(Praying he wants me to NCC his wife)

lol. no pappy for me!

sold out well before it got to me
How much were they going to charge you?
Depends on which version, but between $75-$150 per bottle I think. The 10 year might have been a bit less than $75 but I'm not sure because I didn't gets close enough for it to matter
FYI thisBroubon/Whiksey scored higher than Pappy's.
:goodposting: I don't know if Caskers still adds new accounts, but I have one if you want something Guster. Also still working on the Pappy for ya.
I also have invites if anyone else in here needs one, but last I checked most that booze it up has one.
I have an account but haven't used it in months/ a year? I liked their offerings, but the prices were usually higher than I could find other places

My ex gf texted me earlier today to let me know that the suicide girls burlesque show was in town tonight. And then to top if off, she randomly happened to cross paths with some of them at Starbucks, so she sent me a picture of them. Nice #### tease

By all means, please don't share said picture!
