GM's thread about nothing (24 Viewers)

Tre, thoughts on the Jaguar XJR?
I tried to buy a '96 model (supercharged straight-six) in 2003. Financing fell through. :bag:

Wound up buying a CPO Mercedes C280 Sport. Not nearly the same thing, but I loved that car.

Any XJR made from 1998-present will have a supercharged V8, iirc. I don't like the current generation; to me, the sweet spot is 2008-11. Aluminum chassis, goes like hell for such a big car.

Hey Bob and GM,

Did your gay kids like to watch Strawberry Shortcake on netflix? Asking for a friend.

Texas-TCU is in an interminable weather delay. Fox Sports 1 has moved on to the Washington-Cal game, When it comes back, the Horns game will be on Fox Sports 2...which I don't get. Lick my taint, Fox Sports.

Last week Pats fans complained they got screwed on a CORRECT call. Now Sox fans are complaining they got screwed on a CORRECT call. Apparently these rules shouldn't apply to them. Life is good.

Before I offend any Racineites, I worked for Case Tractors for a couple of years. I had to visit Racine a time or two. Would not advice. Maybe I was in the bad area.
There are two good parts of Racine. O'Dennis' ribs and Totero's Italian. Otherwise, it's Memphis bad.

I'm kinda drunk and sentimental right now but if you hate Aaron Rodgers, you probably should go #### yourself.

Itsaaron.com is a websitethat documents where he visits kids who have survived cancer and they have no idea that he's coming. The joy on their faces is difficult to watch without wiping a tear away. Chance's thread made me remember this but I didn't want to post it there and take anything away from he or JJ Watt. The MAACC Fund (Midwest Athletes Against Childhood Cancer) does so much work around here for kids

I got to meet Maggie this afternoon. She is a delight and a wonderful child. My son gravitated towards her and he's a "momma's boy" in that he wanted to get away from momma to get to Maggie. This girl said to me "Charlie awesome!! How can you stand it? Can he sleep over? I'll make him pancakes tomorrow"

I pretty much lost it.

Very different story from the LAST starting QB of the Packers, who would inject healthy children with cancer surreptitiously. (Actually true.)

Getting ready to head out and drink with whorrish looking women. Building a base by eating some cold pizza and drinking a bud light.

Was gonna stay in and drink, but got convinced to head out earlier this afternoon. Having no costume, I hit the local liquor store and spent $1.79 on a glow-in-the-dark necklace with a shot glass attached. I'll be wearing that with an all black outfit... "a shot in the dark." I'm punny
OMG that's genius.
Unfortunately, no one was clever enough to even come close to figuring it out so I just looked like a douchebag with a shot glass around his neck. Also, there were very few slutty looking girls...wtf??

Did they not get the message this was a Halloween party?

I'm having a little trouble understanding whether the girl is a professional or not but I vote proud.

Still distraught over the end of the World Series game last night. I get that by the rule book it was the correct call, but man I don't know how you can call that. MLB needs to take an NFL-like stance to what it means to be in the action of making the play/fielding. In the NFL, a receiver has to get two feet down and make any act common to the game for a caught ball to count. In baseball, the act of diving to field a ball should complete when the defender gets back to his feet... It's not like he's gonna spend the rest of the game lying on the ground.

Dunno, Gusher. The NFL may be the WORST major sport to appeal to for logic in this case. The Calvin Johnson (non) Rule is only one example I can think of.

I don't have a dog in this fight, but I think it was the correct call. That being said, it should be called EVERY time, or the rule should be changed.

For Zooks and only Zooks

Mrs. SLB has been sick but we didn't have kids so went out last night. Ohgodamn did she look good. We had lunch at Trailhead (place was lousy with Red Sox fans) and headed over to the casino to kill some time before the game. Every guy in the place checked her out. Every guy. She of course was so in to me she didn't notice. Even after I pointed it out she said "no they aren't". Then we order some drinks and she asks the waitress for a water too. I apologize and say she's kind of high maintenance. The waitress replies "she's beautiful, she can be high maintenance." Fairly certain everybody there thought I hired a pro. Which is cool.

For Zooks and only Zooks 2

Plus at lunch the hostess was wearing yoga pants. She asked us to follow her upstairs and her fine ### was right in my face. Mrs. SLB whacked me in the chest without even looking. :lmao: That was the second time she hit me in the matter or minutes. The first was this hot blond with nice natural cans that she thought was wearing a blouse meant for summer. I argued she couldn't be more wrong about anything in the entire world.

I think she has lost too much weight though. She looks more like what Otis wants in a broad.

You shouldn't need to be asked for this.

What are your thoughts on the tuck rule?

GM, I don't see how your Hawks don't beat the Rams by four touchdowns tomorrow. Thoughts?
Dude I love you, but I ####### hate Seattle sports teams. I'm a cowboys fan from childbirth forward. I hope the Rams win.
I'm considering loading up on Seattle.

Zooks, pics of the whorish Halloween girls please?

ETA

Love you too
Friend of mine. My lord.
Can I be friends with her too?
