Sorry to hear this Bob. If it is any consolation, my 7 year old just stood in front of the toilet before bed time and then peed down his leg. With his pants on by the way.also, he just pulled his tooth out that has been loose while I was typing this.Well, that was a classic jinx. Got a call from Cal's school a couple of hours ago, he's on ISS tomorrow. Otherwise know as In School Suspension.
Apparently there was an incident where he accidentally dropped some Uno cards and one of them hit some girl in the face. Because of this, a teacher told him he lost recess. He tried to explain his side of the story but didn't get anywhere. This didn't sit well with him so he told the teacher she should just get out of school and his life. Then he runs into some kid that accused him of peeing on the floor of the bathroom out in the hall. They have him on tape pushing the kid up against the wall. Twice. Then the kid walked backwards all the way to the Principal's office, again on tape, because he was so scared of getting his ### kicked. Things escalated further when later he said he just needed a baseball bat to take care of the teacher that too recess away.
No, he didn't learn these things from me. Stupid genes.

This #### blows my mind.My co facilitator and I got spoken to today because our boss thinks we've been letting the team drink too much during the session. 10 people are averaging 2 bottles of wine and 6 beers a day. Apparently they don't want our work to be known as a place for teams to go get drunk and do good

If you guys are really wondering about the "45" at the end of my scramble username it's sort of my lucky/favorite number.
It's for my grandfather...my dad's dad...who I never got to meet. It was his number when he played HS football. He was a fullback and had scholarship offers from Cal and UCLA. He turned down the chance to go to college to stay home and help his mother (who had polio and was a widow) keep the family business running.
He also served in WWII. He was killed at Okinawa April 5, 1945 (4/5/45).

my daughter now says the ex's boyfriend hit her. my ex hasn't said that, but claims that per my daughter's doctor, she is not allowed to return to their house for any reason.
I don't really understand my daughter's doctor's role in all of this

If there are allegations or suspicions of abuse, it has to be reported. This is when DFS gets involved and the call will get hotlined. If DFS determines the suspect is in the house or has access there, she wouldn't nor shouldn't be allowed to return until further investigated.

You are probably getting a lot of advice, so do what you think is best. But one thing you can do is get your ex and the doctor in the same room together and get the story. Your ex doesn't seem capable of giving it to you. You probably know that the doctor is a mandatory reporter, so if he has anything to report, he would have done so. The doctor doesn't have any authority to order that the daughter can't go to the house, but he may have told your ex that and she's repeating it as if it was an order.
Good luck man. If you can, drop what you've got going on and get the story straight
(you probably already know this, but with a kid it could be anything from "innocent" exaggeration for attention to no exaggeration at all. Good luck and keep a clear head.)

Thanks GB. As I posted last night, I can't imagine being under surveillance all the time while a youth in school. Shoot out of school too. It's like boys can't be boys any more. Give him a detention or something. Under no circumstances is what he said to the teacher acceptable though. The men in my lineage generally take justice into their own hands, right or wrong, and tend to escalate things rather quickly.
