GM's thread about nothing (39 Viewers)

I did buy RAD on pirated DVD, and the soundtrack came with it on CD. "Break The Ice" and "Thunder In Your Heart" are right up there with "You're The Best Around" for me.

I never saw RAD either. And all this time I thought I had seen the majority of crappy movies released in the 80s.
How about Thrashin'? The Dirt Bike Kid?

These along with Iron Eagle and RAD were pretty much staples that young Bogart would rent from the local video store on weekends to moms.

I used to do a RAD and Thrashin' double-feature every weekend in middle school.
I knew I liked you Abe for more than your snazzy sweater vests.

Iron Eagle: Yes

Thrashin': Yes

Dirt Bike Kid: No

Right before Iron Eagle came out Jason Gedrick was in this hunk of crap that was on HBO about 4 times a day called "The Heavenly Kid". He was terrible in it. I think I avoided seeing Iron Eagle for at least a year because he was in it.

And I've seen Election more times than at least 98% of all other Americans.
I'm in that 2%.

Most realistic movie about teachers ever IMO.
Don't think I had any awareness of that movie until I read about it in this thread just now.
Seriously?

You're missing out. Great flick. (pun intended)

And every day after school Lisa and I would go to her house to #### and have a hot tub.

Reminds me of one of my favorite lines from the first or second season of "Happy Days" (ask your parents).

Richie, Ralph and Potsie get a hold of a "stag film" (ask your grandpa). It was probably just one of those Swedish "naturist" things (ask Charvik). Anyway I guess a chick with really big boobs comes on the screen and Potsie says "How'd you like to see those in a sweater!"
:lmao:

Holy crap, I remember that too.

How do you know if your son is actually gay, or if he's just being a little brother and copying his big sister like most younger siblings do at 3 years old?
Have you tried asking him?
He said no.

He does like sports, video games, cars, sharks, and dinosaurs so he's probably not, it's just that he was doing his mom's hair like his sister always does.
Keep an eye on him. If he asks to have his nails painted like his sister's, then you may have a problem. boy with an interesting lifestyle.
Could make a good MLB catcher

Going to allow "K-man".

I use "D" or "Deck" for Declan I guess. Haven't tried "D-man". Also use Tank sometimes, but that's his name.
Tank's pretty badasssss. Not sure how you got that one approved, but god love you, that's freaking awesome.
When I reffed Peewee football, there was a kid named Rage Thomas. He was the middle linebacker and awesome. I should look him up. Maybe he's gay or straight.
Modified version of Ray J or RJ? RJ>Hi
:bye:

They all had their names taped to their helmets. His said "Rage Thomas". Anyways, I tried to name my first born "Knife Fight" but settled for "Knox"
I've already locked in "Brick" for the middle name if we have another son. "Missile", "Explosion", "Rocket" and "Monster' were all turned down.
My college roommate was named Brik

And so, tomorrow night brings an end to "MAN WEEK". We cemented our last day absent wives/sisters/daughters/rules/dishes/reason/vegetables by going straight from school to Buffalo Wild Wings to eat happy hour fried pickles and other healthy choices. We had popcorn for dinner with what was left of an ice cream cake for dessert. It'll be good to see the women, but we've had fun since they left. Whole lot could be written here that won't, but suffice it to say, I got good kids. Good friends. Good family. You folks. Best friend lost his SIL today. I knew her. Sent her flowers over 10 years ago when she was diagnosed with cancer the first time around FFFFFFFFFFFFFUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUCCCCCCCCCCCCCCCCCCCCCKKKKKKKKKKKKKKK you cancer. Take me, jerkass. Leave these good people alone. Come fight me. I'm gonna swing at you a few times hard.

Seems I've overindulged. Again. Another win for MILOS?

I miss Shining Path. I still cry when I think about Big Bottom losing his son. I'm glad Bill is still alive and kicking. I really like him. I wish I was nicer to Cosjobs than I've been to him in the past. I'd like to do Mellyhole III and Cosjobs I over again. I thank you all for keeping this thread alive. I don't have much money or power or anything to call a legacy. But we have this. Cool. Should we show our kids? ;)
You are the man GM.

You remember about 20 years ago how Jimmy Connors made that unlikely run in the US Open and how fun that was for a while?

Ham's school lockdown thread is like that.
