Happy you're OK GBWhat a fun morning! Hit a ####### deer just after leaving for dinner with my family. Of course - horse shoe up my ### that I have - it was right before an exit and I was able to limp my way to a truck stop. Air bags came out, which was fun with a cigaratte in my mouth (hint: they don't taste good lit). Cop showed up - I think he was more pissed that the deer got away than that he was on call on the 24thHe had me do a field sobriety test, but wasn't even paying attention - I passed. I recently joined AAA and they had someone there to tow my truck in about 20 friggin minutes. EMTs arrived at some point & wanted to take me to the hospital, but I declined - no injuries (other than the partially ingested cig and the air bags punching my lungs through the BACK OF MY ####### CHEST). The AAA guy said at the time I should have my truck back by Thursday (!) - hood & grill ####ed up and whoever he worked for had/located both. Thank God no one was hurt, other than that poor deer. Cop drove me home.
They just called and said they'd have my truck done today! WTF? They are bringing it over by 4 o'clock!!!!

Big fan of wearing any college clothing, no matter if I attended the school or not. See Oregon, University of.Just crimson colored sweatpants with "Indiana" on the left legGifts are always acceptable. Are they candy striped?Frosty > need you to weigh in here. She went to IU and got me IU pajama pants. Acceptable or do I have to tell her I can't wear them because I didn't go to IU?Did gift exchange with Chicago Girl last night because I have my daughter tonight and then we are going to Maine.
We have only been dating for 3-4 months and I wasn't even sure if we were doing gifts until we talked it on Saturday, so I had played it somewhat safe with the gifts I got for her just in case she didn't have anything for me.
Of course, she's awesome so she got me some great stuff. A couple highlights: we both got each other beer (thanks for the assist on that one Thorn, it was a big hit) and she also got me some new pajama pants to offset the ones she has commandeered when she stays over.
In fact, I don't think I've ever owned anything with Millsaps on it, other than Frat shirts.

Folks are out of town and my best buddys folks are out of town. Stuck at work now but heading down to his house in Hernando, MS (awesome 6k single level spread on the lake). The asians (his wife (vietnamese) and my GF (korean)) will be joining us.
Have a handle of evan williams, a handle of woodford reserve, a case of champagne (plus pear necatar and OJ for bellini's/mimosas). Planning on smoking a turkey and doing alien mac & cheese among other stuff. BluRay of Nat Lampoons Christmas Vacation. Going to hole up in the compound for the next couple days and mix time between tending the smoker,, and

sheesh I'm tired.
Did the menu listed yesterday, but added a smoke Boston butt, lamb chops and half dozen more vegetable dishes after a late night market run.
Must have put out 30-40 completely different plates of food in about an hour and a half.
The baked triple cream raw sheep milk cheese baked then topped with cashews and strawberries was off the charts.

Not with an uncle in the hospital. Just the constant dumb texts over and over were irritating. I didn't think asking to be removed was that bad.

My B&SIL, nephews and nephew's new Chinesed wife just left. She's pretty hot. Cal seemed to be a little smitten. Although it was a little awkward, since is the first time we've ever even met her, when he immediately says "Wow, you're Chinese!! I was tracking Santa on NORAD and he has already been to China.".

Mr. krista's best talent is identifying voices in radio/TV ads, voiceovers, etc. It's really something to behold. I was just reminded of this as we are watching Ken Burns' Baseball and he identified Adam Arkin's voice immediately. I didn't even know there was an Adam Arkin.
