GM's thread about nothing (54 Viewers)

Got a job interview tonight. Not losing my current job, in fact I just got a slight promotion/lateral move.

But still, SAP has destroyed this company and I feel like it's just moving chairs on the Titanic. Plus, this new company came after me without a word that I was even looking. That always feels good.

That's one show I continued to watch even after I aged well past the target demographic. But let me tell you, the latest season is the most unwatchable piece of crap that I've seen, and that includes most of the reality TV trainwrecks that my wife watches. I only watched the first episode, but basically the premise is everyone in the house recently went through a bad breakup, and they start the show like any other RW, but in a few weeks (may have already happened?), all of their exes move in.
 
RW Hawaii had a gay guy who made them go to India before quitting the show, a lesbian alcoholic who drove drunk but got naked AMD quite possibly the most obnoxious, irritating showmance in reality history with the afore mentioned buxom Amaya (and her ample 'girls') and some forgettable white doofis who was Quaker boring yet constantly making it through the edit room chops.

But my comment above had nothing to do with her. #recoveringRWjunkie.

I watched the LA and SF seasons start-to-finish. Then the next 4 or 5 off and on. I think the last season I remember watching most of the episodes was New Orleans. Who was that one hot-as-balls lesbian chick? Genesis?

Here's the thing - and I've been saying this for a while now - he's doing all of this for kicks. He's found a typecast roll here and figures negative attention is better than none at all. Once he realized his threads and posts were a lightning rod for scorn and ridicule he went full throttle with it. It's all a bit. A bad bit, sure. But a bit. Everything - and I mean everything - he posts is designed to ruffle feathers and draw attention to himself. He loves this. He loves that we think he's unstable, angry, obtuse, a drunk, a philanderer... And as long as we keep getting riled up he'll keep the charade going. I think his real life is rather boring, so he does this for kicks.
