GM's thread about nothing (63 Viewers)

25 consecutive years making the playoffs and NOT winning a championship. Blues are pretty much the Bills of the NHL. So he has the transitive property working for him, too.
Scotty Bowman

Tony McKegney

Grant Fuhr

Pierre Turgeon

so many greats were a part of both franchises

I just had a scam call my on my cell phone about a "free $9,0000.00 government grant" he'd like to have transferred into my bank account.

Does anyone know who I'm supposed to report these people to?

what's the background for why everyone in this thread who lives in Texas seems to root for an NFL team from out of state? bunch of transplants?
Jerry Jones alienation coupled with Romo's propensity to throw the ball to the wrong player at the absolute worst time has forced many Texans to scramble for a legitimate NFL team to root for. It is why I am a staunch member of our Buffalo Bills nation.
I don't think you're allowed to switch NFL teams this late in life, unless it's to our Bills.
This is true, that's why as a Cowboys fan I've taking to rooting for whoever is playing them that week. I hope enough losses will cause Jerrah to drop dead.

Big controversy at a certain middle school in a certain Central California city.

At the 1:35 and 1:52 marks you can see the outside of a certain teacher's classroom.
I like how the Indian mom says learning all that science stuff turned out to be a big waste of time.
:lmao: Yeah this whole story is goofy. Bottom line is that all they had to do was put some schmo in as the 4th member of the team but they didn't (a certain teacher was not involved in this competition in any way so  )

Pizza oven purchase postponed to 2015. Adjust your Seattle visits accordingly.

In a rare fit of fiscal conservatism, I thought it might be better to wait until we have been in this house a while and are sure we are staying.
You're welcome
Intriguing but so ugly.

Pardon me for being Midwestern, but why in the name of #### would the washer/dryer go on the third floor?

I seriously can't even figure out how and/or why that happens.

Ideal = First floor

Acceptable = Basement

Barely Acceptable = Second floor

I was going to mock thr 3rd floor laundry, but for fu#k's sake that shouldn't even be an option. I'm actually angry about this, and I'm not even being conscripted for the heavy labor.
Ideal = laundry on the same floor that it's removed and stored... Which in this case, I assume is the 3rd floor
This is correct. Considered a plus to have it on that floor where two of the bedrooms are (including master) and laundry is generated and stored.

Yeah.

Indian (dots, not feathers) parents can be a little high-strung when it comes to their kids and education. I'll tell you though...if every one of my students was Indian my job would be a cakewalk.

Oh, and I think holding a science competition that punishes contestants with less than three friends seems counterproductive.
I actually don't know.
Your response has confused me.
:lmao: I responded to the wrong post.

I do not know how the questions were asked/answered. I think it was a Jeopardy-like buzz-in kinda deal. I could be wrong.

In response to your other post: Originally the first place team did have 4 members. One girl* dropped out and they didn't replace her for some reason.

*I have no idea why this girl was chosen to be on the team. She is a great student but is a raving witch. It does not surprise me in the least that quit and left her teammates in a lurch.

I've gotten a call on my landline 3 times that comes up on the caller id as "illegal scam"
If I had to guess which person here had a landline, you would not have been the name that first came to mind. Hey tanner !

This all sounds very dramatic.

Jokes on you, Sheckey. The phone hooked up to our landline stopped working about 2 years ago. Never bothered to figure out why. I don't think we even know where the handset is.

I'm turning it into a screenplay.

Just found out this morning that a friend's 14-year-old son was murdered. Not a close friend (otherwise I would have known when it happened three weeks ago), so no TPW needed for me, but it's truly awful. They are having the funeral Monday because apparently both the prosecution and defense had to be allowed access first to do an autopsy, so they only just now released his body to the family.

So ####### horrible.

We have a landline, but only because my wife works from home and does a lot of conference calls and cell reception is too spotty.

Why? Would you be able to outsource all of your work?
