Am I the only one that digs this song?

Buck Cherry "Lit Up"

Everything I believe in tells me I should hate it but it makes me want to freaky-deaky. It curls up my belly.
Redneck Riviera Rock :headbang:

I termed this phrase :bowtie: after watching this cover band when at the beach a few years ago. Me and a buddy took a look at the band and the crowd and basically predicted about 80% of the songs that they ended up playing (Blink 182, Blur, Papa Roach, Good Charlotte, Puddle of Mudd, etc). White trash one hit wonders.

My wife is freaking out a bit. She's had a bad cold the last few days and is not taking anything due to the pregnancy. Well last night she took a 30min very hot shower to try to relieve sinus pressure. She also for some unknown reason did 50 squats while in the shower. So she got her heart rate up while in hot water/steam. Apparently that is bad for baby, although it's more of a first trimester thing, and she's into week 24 now. So she's all upset with herself. The baby was kicking last night afterwards though, so it should be all good.

Possibly the worst movie ever made is on right now. Mobsters.
No chance that's the worst. Frosty's top 5 probably all worse. Heck, Abe likely watched two or three worse movies in the past 24hrs.
Movies watched in last 24 hours :The counselor

American hustle

Most of season 4 of dexter.
Thoughts? I watched American hustle on Friday. I liked it and thought Bale was great per usual, but I'm not sure that it was best picture nominee worthy. Although that bar has been lowered. Maybe they didn't build Bale's hustle success up enough for me and I didn't really buy his loan fee scam not resulting in people murdering him.

Went out with Miss tonight and the place we went to had an "unofficial RPS" tournament tonight. I thought it would be fun for us to enter. $10/entry and off we went.

Blah blah blah...

I won the damned thing. Over 500 in and I walked with $3500. Miss lost in the 2nd round.

It looks like I'm finally good at something.
What's RPS?
Rock, Paper, Scissors.
:lmao: no way. That's incredible.

I'm still trying to get my head around a rock, paper, scissors tournament, much less one in which there is thousands of dollars at stake.

Oh, the first baby guilt complex. Good luck, they get insane at this stage. If you read enough, ####### everything is bad for the baby. Except most of it isn't. Remind her that people have been having babies for thousands of years without worrying about a lot of stuff that's in those pregnancy books.

Good to go. Do you know how to set up a table?
yes
Wait what? We can play poker again?
Play money, then pay each other via paypal following the game.

Sorry about your ducks.
Gotcha. Sounds like fun. Im in for this next time.

Meh...Ducks basketball does little for me. I couldn't name 1 player on this team before the tournament started. Not a style of play I care for.

Nice bracket in Frost's contest.

Then tell her to have a drink and relax.

My favorite stupid pregnant woman story...

My SIL (who is a dramatic know-it-all with a victim complex and a very passive husband - insufferable) was pregnant with their first kid. She likes Thai and Indian food, spicy stuff. My wife asked if her and her husband wanted to go out to dinner with us to an Indian place. She responded that she didn't want to be tempted by the spicy food and that it wasn't good for the baby. This was through text.

I told my wife to text back and say 'Well then how do Indian women have babies if they can't eat Indian food?' No reply. Never said anything about it.

Women are insane when they are pregnant.

I bought a $200 pair of New Balance running shoes. I hate running. Maybe it'll make me run. Or maybe it'll just be more comfortable walking around on the weekends than these terrible Nike Free things that leave my ankles and feet aching at the end of the day on a Saturday because they're super cool "barefoot running" shoes, which is so ####### nerdy. I've always wanted a nice pair of New Balance, never owned one. Pretty stoked for these.

Anybody wanna go for a run w/me? TIA
I have a 5 mile run today but will be sporting a new pair of Nike's I got on sake at Kohls for $33. :bowtie:

Figure I may as well be the first to fix that last sentence for ya.

50 squats in the shower while pregnant. Interesting choice.
Yea. Weird. I was more concerned with that for fear of slipping. Apparently she wanted to stay in there longer to help with sinuses and was thinking she hadn't been exercising enough. I can't follow the logic path of preggo wife.

Hey Bob, we should get some confirmations for Beerhole. Tickets are on sale now so we should probably start talking about how much people are willing to pay and what kind of seats we're looking for. I can do the legwork on ordering them. Just need tallies.

$65, $80 or $195 for Field level

$45-65 for Loge (2nd) level

$60 for Club (3rd) level

$20-25 for Terrace (4th) level

$30 for Bleachers

Group tickets would be cheaper but we'd need 25 people and I don't think we're getting near that.
This is what I had;

Mr & Mrs. Stryker

I just bought 15 tickets in the bleachers for $30 a pop. I'll eat the taxes and fees if we can get people to confirm they are coming.
