GM's thread about nothing (66 Viewers)

Do you think the producers of this dogs hit movie contraband thought, "man this movie is bad...but Kate beckinsale is in it so we will get plenty of run on cable later on."

Very depressed today. Gonna start drinking.
Adding a depressant to being depressed is basically the equivalent of two wrongs making a right, yes?
N*N=P

Although I was never really good at math. Plus I only have 14 beers here, so it's not like I can get really tanked or anything.

Plus plus, I've never done my taxes sober in my life and I don't plan on starting now.
Audit rates way way down

I swear I will not be truthful on this year's returns.

I don't know where this all started, but if you're poolside at the Hard Rock, you're better at catching and disseminating STDs than anything else.
From what I've heard/read, 80% of active pools with catch and disseminate those at some point.
Schlong-warts are one thing. The Hard Rock pool is one missed dose of chlorine from creating the Andromeda Strain.
I'm sure Zooks is on top of it.
Confirmed

Just finished filing taxes.

It is also our anniversary. Wife has to make a bunch of cookies and get to bed early since she as to be at work at 6:30AM. .

.07 chance of adult fun tonight.

Just opened my first beer.

Do I know how to party or what?
Who TF gets married on tax day? Did you get married before April 15 actually was tax day?
:lmao:

Our first date was on Apr 15. 4 years later I knocked her up. We decided to get married right after we were sure she was pregnant. That was probably about Apr 12. Figured we might as well get married on our "anniversary".

Still going strong 22 years later.

True, but staged, built up somewhat. The headphone part was especially lame. Every computer class in school has those headphones
Yeah, I got a big "actory" feel on that one.
Was this one posted? Kids - Beatles.

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=_M9US-cXJMo

My 9 yr old daughter is doing a diarama on a Beatles book she read. She wanted to watch "Lucy in the Sky with Diamonds" video because she heard it was "freaky." It is - the blue meanies really freaked her out. A lot of "what is that???" "Why are they doing that??? "Ewww!!"

She is now back to the cute Beatles circa 1964.

Mr. krista obsessing over hosting a "snout to tail" pig event for, among others, Drifter, 'ninja and wives. Menu developing.

ETA: I think Drifterwife isn't a meat-eater so alternate menu also being developed.

Flysack dropping mega spoils in non book Thrones thread. There goes the neighborhood.
I'm just going to put this out there...and not defending flysack in any way but...

If someone is really concerned with spoilers they should just avoid any threads, anywhere, discussing the show.
True but these "oops, spoilers" types are pretty douchey.

Well, yeah. But it's the internet. You have to expect douchism at every turn.

That there's a specific thread set up for non-book-readers makes it different, IMO. Pretty much a #### move. A normal show, I say it's fair game as soon as the episode airs.

Agree 100%.

The thing about the show is that it really isn't about what happens but how it happens. As far as the story-lines go it's a pretty average show. Way too long-winded and melodramatic. In many ways it is worse than "Downton".

But the acting, action, scenery, costumes, dialog etc are fantastic. Not to mention some pretty good medieval tittays.

Since you were there the first time around I will trust your judgement.

wtf
Really? Like this, for instance. I've been to several of these, where they use every part of the pig for a large multi-course meal.
Really.

And I doubt they use every part of the pig.
