GM's thread about nothing (21 Viewers)

Young Meg Ryan, like all hairstylists before her, had ideas of what she wanted to do with my hair. I'm not precious about my hair so am generally amenable to what these people suggest. She was describing some colored rinse she wanted to put on, and I told her whatever she thought would look good is fine with me.

Yep, I'm a ginger.

Ignoramus, you get first shot at mercilessly mocking me.
If the drapes don't match the curtains, you're not a ginger, toots.

Put my house in CO on the market yesterday, two showings today, got a full offer off one with a pretty fast close. Question is do I let it ride through the weekend to see if I can spark a bidding war or jump on this one?
If you get an offer you're comfortable with, take it. Bird in the hand and all that...

She didn't say where the rinse went.

So...is it weird that I feed my cats a specific fancy feast each day

Monday = marinated morsels Monday

Tuesday =turkey Tuesday

Wednesday = gravy Wednesday

Thursday = Thursday loaf (classic)

Friday = fish Friday

Saturday = Saturday scramble (the egg based one)

Sunday = green can Sunday (the medleys)

:lmao: :lmao: :lmao:

Romo was supposed to leave to come home tomorrow. He just got sent to Denver for 2 more weeks instead. I'm full-term in 2.5 weeks. Neat industry.
Jesus. My boss told me I wasn't allowed to travel anymore after it took 5.5 hours to drive home to Philly from Fredericksburg, va last week. I was already told no flights at the beginning of the month.
Well I'm a few weeks behind your wife, and there aren't any indications that anything is wrong or that Pennsatucky will come early. But yeah, he's 20 driving hours away.I'll be fine - I have friends I could call in case of emergency. I'm just more tired than anything. And I was really hoping I wouldn't have to mow the yards this weekend. :wall:
If you can find some neighborhood kid with PayPal to do it for you, I'll pay for it.
Very, very kind of you (and Guster :oldunsure: ), but I'm fine. I was just whining. I asked the doctor last week about things like mowing, carrying my daughter up and down stairs, etc. and he assured me that none if it will put me in early labor.I actually kind of enjoy the looks I get when I mow our front yard. I put on a pregnancy tank top and just watch the people drive by and stare. I must look like complete white trash. I should get an unlit cigarette and empty beer can for when I do it tomorrow or Sunday.
Why wouldn't you light the cigarette?

Your cats eat better than me. Assuming the green can is a vag full of Dortitos.

This Cat Guy says "yes".

I. Was standing in the rain wAiting...

Best round of mini golf I evah played was in the pouring monsoon rain in Houston while absolutely smashed. Those afternoon rain showers are a trip!!

And my peach tree is producing the most delicious peaches!! It's amazing, damn thing isn't even 6 feet tall and I'm going to get 30 or so racket ball sized peaches off it.
Patiently waiting for Chapter II...
:lmao:

I'm watching my neighbor's(from Tyler Texas) stupid ###, old as dirt, cancer ridden, Pomeranian. ####### dog is crazy and annoying as hell. They're in cabo.

Vons is apparently going to stop carrying the delicious $9 Pinot noir that I swill down on a regular basis, not happy about that

This is the first year in the last 4, that I am not planting my garden. I turned the soil and have attempted to grow grass( not that kind, I grew that in pots and it was glorious) and the ####### grass seed won't take for some reason. But I have parsley growing in all sorts of random spots in the grass.

Are they paying cash or do they have a financing contingency?
It's a contingent offer but their close is July 9th. They are behind because they've lost a couple bidding ears on other offers. Mrs. Drifter used to be in the mortgage business and our realtor is a good friend. The mortgage broker is solid and the other contingent sale is past inspection and appraisal so it seems solid
Let. It. Ride. Nothing to lose by doing so, quite a bit if you don't

No. When I had my cat I used to go to petsmart, loaded with coupons and buy fancy feast by the truck load, minimum 96 cans at a time. Without fail the question at check out was, " how many cats do you have?" My surly answer, "just 1, ####er eats a lot"

I was perusing the facebooks this morning when I saw that our friend SLB had commented on a post from some radio station trolling for comments by challenging people to come up with names that started with the letter "O" (actually it looked like a 0, so I wonder if that was the "trick"). There were over 20,000 comments so I wasn't able to find Bob's but in reading through, I found this gem of a comment dropped by an older black gentleman:

Vincent Ferguson If u had asked the same question using a B, all those people that didn't have the respect or the common sense to think of the President of these United States first would have said bush. I was told as a child that everyone has the chance in this country to grow up and one day become the President, I guess that was the lie that they thought they were feeding us, not thinking that it would ever be possible, but now that it has happen and there is a Black Man in the Whitehouse, it is driving some people crazy with hate. It is like being back in the 50's again. Things that make u go hmmmmm!!
:lmao: felt just like walking out of this thread and into any one of the other threads in the FFA

JFC. Is CA really going to spend $76 million ($50 mil in federal funds) on a giant trapeze net to put under the Golden Gate Bridge so people can't jump?
Saw that and couldn't help but wonder what would keep people from jumping out of the net?
If anything, it might make people more likely to jump because they get the thrill of the free fall without the risk of death. Can't wait to see the annual bill for rescuing people from the net
