True story. This guy is a good dude. I hate talking bad about him but sometimes it is so hard not to.

I think he lived in Minnesota until he was like 5. Always a huge Vikes/Twins fan. But I vividly remember one night back in about 1986 (he was about 21 at the time) we were all sitting around drinking and someone was flipping the channels on the TV. ESPN was showing a Golden Gophers game. This guys says "Who the F are the Gophers?" I told him "That's Minnesota, dude." He had no idea.

These days I can count on at least 4 Golden Gopher posts a week from him on FB.
