Other ideas from my NW friends? I'm even struggling with where to have meals...Elliot's will be one stop but I'm out of ideas after that. I'd like to take her to someplace that shows how beautiful it is here but am not sure what encapsulates that the best (without birds).

Hey! Some suggestions! She was here for a night or two before a cruise to Alaska, but I don't think she did much.

I was going to avoid the Space Needle but since it's right by Chihuly maybe we'll go up there. Alki and Snoqualmie are both good suggestions, too. Those would cover some pretty stuff without her actually having to do any hiking or anything.

so in college, my gb and I decide to go to Land (I was visiting UCSB for my spring break)- he had hallucinogenic pot (what we called parent-pot, since as Marin kids all the parents always had the best stuff), and we were determined to get happy in the happiest place on earth, figuring Tom Sawyer's Island or some other unpopular ride/attraction would be good for smoking.

On the way out the door, his roommate who had worked at Land all through HS, tells us "oh... if you see anybody who looks like a stereotype of a tourist... they're undercover security. Avoid". We get there and EVERYBODY looks like stereotypical tourists, plus Tom Sawyer island was swarming with them. We ended up breaking into a random car (despite security guards zipping around in golf-cart) and getting smashed to the bejeezus. Went on that Star Tours ride which had just opened... and conversed with all of the animitronic robots that were part of the leadup to the ride. My gb practically raped one of them, to the horror of the tourist stereotypes that surrounded us on line. We figured that WAS the ride, until we actually got on the damned thing an hour later.

tl:dr- got high at Disneyland in college. we were the only people there who weren't undercover cops.
