GM's thread about nothing (39 Viewers)

I'm working from home tomorrow and I already got everything done I could possibly need to do before like noon. Kind of feeling like drinking copious amounts of vodka tonight.
I have a breakfast meeting at 7 am that I really don't want to go to but it's important for the company. Subject is actual insurance stuff which is BY FAR the least favorite part of my job. Given the amount of alcohol I plan to consume during this Cowboys game, it's going to be a struggle.

Working from home is pretty awesome, but it would be 10x better of the wife and kids weren't also there

Also I have 5 working days left for 2014, and one of them is an office potluck :porked:

Pretty much an embarrassment of riches at the position here.

My local tavern was on Bar Rescue tonight. What a completely staged load of poo that show is. It was still kinda fun to watch some of my friends on TV.

Thorn > They made your girl cry. They did bust her for stealing but you should still write a sternly worded letter.

Stryker> A place I like had the same experience. Stuff like this.

Lupa said the crews filming their initial visit to The Brixton limited how many customers could come in, to make the bar appear more desperate for clientele than it really is. And to make the bars staff appear overmatched, producers then later flooded the place with customers who were instructed to order complex drinks all in a rush.
And after the show

Lupa and his staff brought Brixton signage back almost immediately after the cameras stopped rolling

Yeah that sounds about right. I know a guy who was at the taping and he's about 6'1". Not a huge guy by any means but apparently Taffer is kinda short and they told him he couldn't stand anywhere near Taffer so he wouldn't be overshadowed. :lmao:

They really had them play up for the cameras on the initial visit as well. Still not sure if that was the bar's choice or Spike's choice.

Confidential to Best Teammate Ever:

I just voted on the ESPN site to say that we will win this week's matchup. That's how we win, right? Votes? Anyway, we had 100% (1-0) of the votes. YW.

When I married my wife she brought an electric can opener into our marriage. Still haven't used it. Some things should just be done by hand.
