GM's thread about nothing (29 Viewers)

I've been trying to help my friend through a divorce. He won't listen. He's going to lose his house, his boat, his rv, everything he owns, and probably his kids. I'm so pissed. I could have stopped all of this, but for 2 years he wouldn't listen. death by 1000 cuts.

Red Rock Canyon on Sunday is fine with me. Never been there before. Admittedly I like Zion a lot, but love to explore new places as often as I can. I think I even like hiking around Bryce a little more. :oldunsure:

Suge Knight reviews Tam's Burgers in Compton:

Aight, I'm up in Tam's Burgers yesterday finna get my eat on, nahmean? Y'all #####s ain't forgot but I'm a big #####, go 6'4" bout 3 hunnit and I get mad as #### when I ain't eat every three hours. So I pull up to Tam's, real mu####in place reppin' Compton, OG's layin' back all over like jungle cats, just snackin' on fries n' ####. Vibe is tight, see my homey Big Twan posted up with dis' bad ##### in a booth in the back of the restaurant. I kick it with Twan for bout five minutes before I seen these two #####s mad doggin me. Ain't think much at first, who ain't finna get a look at Suge. My ### legendary. But these #####s start frontin' and step, challenge me to a break dance off in the parking lot. That ain't even my thing, but I ain't bout to look like a ##### in front of all these OG's and fine ### #####es. I been outta the scene for a minute recovering from gunshots, can't let my cred get checked by a couple of breakdancing #####s. All of a sudden one of these fools starts layin' down a beat and the other mu#### starts spinnin' on his head, right in the middle of Tam's. That floor wax on point, so this ##### spinnin' for like 3 minutes straight. I ain't gon lie, #### was 100. Need a minute to get my #### straight, so I tell these #####s to go outside and lemme get a chicken sandwich and some waffle fries real quick. I ain't bout to bring the ruckus on an empty stomach. So I take my time with this sandwich, and let me tell you, ON GOD, this one of the top 5 chicken sandwiches I ever had in my life. Sauce game strong as #### and that bun? Oh my lord, I ain't even doin it justice. And if that ain't enuff, these #####s changing the game on waffle fry seasoning. I musta been lickin my fingers like a damn fool. #### so good I almost forgot bout these crazy breakdancin' #####s in the parking lot. I get up, collect myself, shake the seasoning off my XXXL shirt, and head outside. Now there's a crowd gathered and ####. #####s already yellin' "Worldstar" as I walk out. I ain't bout to embarrass myself so I defer first round to them, like a gentleman. One of the homeys turns up some 80's breakdancing music from his Monte Carlo and this #### is on. I ain't gon lie, these #####s got moves I ain't never seen, not even in the joint. Bustin' moves in all four dimensions and linking #### like its Tekken. I ain't about to go out there with my standard moves (worm, baby freeze and 3-step) and get laughed out this parking lot. I panic, and tell these breakdance ninjas I need to go to my truck and get some medication real quick, for my gout. Uric acid ain't no joke, and these #####s gotta understand I can't be dancing around with all this gout in my foot. They acquiesce and I head to my truck, close the door and think to myself, "Suge baby, you from the streets. You can do 20-life but you ain't tryin' to live with the shame of getting yo ### whooped in a breakdance fight fo the rest of yo life." I say, "Cottam self, you right. Imma make these #####s my #####, send a message that Suge Knight STILL ain't nuthin to #### wit." Fire up that ignition and back the #### out of the Tam's parking lot at full speed, swervin e'rywhere to take as many of these #####s with me as possible. Boom, direct hit on that ##### that was layin' down the beat inside Tam's, I know I killed his ###. But that other ##### too quick, he's back flipping outta the way and did a handspring over the bed of my truck. I had to turn around and go back after him. Finally he tripped once the music stopped and his flow got thrown off. I gunned it right at his ###, but at the last second he hits a windmill with the last ounce of energy in his body and got out the way just enough. I clipped that #####, but I killed enough people to know he ain't dead. I made enough a mess to know the cops gon' be here any minute so I get the #### outta Tam's and take off. So after the scene I caused and the disruption to Tam's business, I figure the least I can do is leave them a Yelp review. I mean, I woulda given them one star after having to kill a ##### for nearly ruining me with his dance skills, but that chicken sandwich was THE TRUTH, and those waffle fries made me want to confess all my sins to Jesus, so I had to bump that rating up to three stars. You know a restaurant on point when you'd come back to the scene for another sandwich after a hit and run. Keep it trill, Tam's. I'll be seein ya when I get out on bond.

Falling the hell apart

Something on each one of my appendages is messed up in some fashion

Right arm, rotator cuff is barking. Thought for sure I tore it, but seems to be healing quickly.

Left arm, tore something in my elbow. Heard it pop about 3 months back while doing push-ups. Still can't do more than 5 before it becomes unbearable. A far cry from the 5 sets of 25 I was doing. This one drives me nuts, can do anything else I want/need to do with it. No push-ups, and if I bang it on something it's like a funny bone pain without the funny part. Just agony.

Left leg, turf toe on the SGT Hulka

Right leg, hamstring strain. Nothing nasty. Was still able to do the 4 miles yesterday, but it's extra tight today.

As for the 5th appendage, the user name says it all. :kicksrock:

This getting old thing is teh suck

Teh suck, indeed. I only had seven cocktails last night and I'm a wreck. Gonna go try to sweat some of this out on the treadmill, but I am not optimistic that I'll last the full hour.

 
I feel like a dope. It's 23 degrees here and with wind feels like 9. There's a ton of salt on my car so it needs to be washed off, but with the low temp, no way I'm doing it myself. So now I'm sitting in a line that I'm guessing is a 30-40 minute line at the carwash. Not a good use of time.

Also, just throwing this out there, but if there is a huge line and you buy anything but the basic wash, you're a d-bag.

 
Oh, and Angrywife had a dream last night that we went to an orgy party and is suddenly interested in any illicit activities I have in mind in the real world. So far we've covered going to the strip club and buying her dances, off label prescription drug use and pot brownies. In other words, fish's average Tuesday night.

I liked hiking around Bryce more than Zion, but that's just way too long a drive to wedge into this trip. Let's plan on either Zion or Red Rock Canyon and figure it out later.

Works for me. Doing Valley of Fire on Friday so I am open for Sunday. Red Rock Canyon is fine with me.

I even went to one of your old stomping grounds for a long appearance, just before "polishing" off a 15,000-word "brief." Oof. I paid dearly for my "days off" around Christmas and New Year's.
