Lousy Attention Whore
Choosing "None of the above" is NOT an option. These are your only two options (right now, not anytime in the past) to manage your NFL team and you have to pick one of them. Who do you choose and why?

Davis has the hardware, Millen has the worst record in NFL history. Heck, the Raiders were just in the Superbowl a couple years ago. Millen hasn't even sniffed a .500 season.

Ok, I'm a Lions fan, so I'm a wee bit biased...

But even then, this isn't even remotely close. Davis by a MILE. Love him, or hate him, he at least has a track record. Millen hasn't done jack crap his entire tenure. Worst GM EVER.......... :hot:

I went with Millen. Why? Millen can be fired. Hard to fire the owner. Davis will be around till health doesn't permit it. Millen will be be back on ESPN a lot sooner.

Assume it's your team and you have to hire one of these guys to run your team. What then?

If I'm hiring one of them, it's Davis. He's more likely to die. He's less physically imposing. He actually has some semblance of a track record that has a positive on it somewhere - old but it exists. He's crazy in an amusing sort of way, so he provides entertainment.

If I have to hire one, I'm hiriing a hitman so we can move on.

Millen right now I guess

Millen is the worst EVER. The Lions are a Joke for keeping him. Any of us could have a better record. Its hard not to...really

How Millen ever got the job and still has it is a mystery to me.
Height of the 'Hey ESPN knows what they're doing don't they?' craze. For some reason the NFL began believing these guys knew what they were talking about. That and the phrase 'think outside the box' probably.I went with Al -- crazy as he is, his instincts hit occasionally. Millen? Not so much.YOu can't NOT look at history. Otherwise you could throw anyone into the equation.

FI-RE MILLEN, clap clap, clap clap clap

FI-RE MILLEN, clap clap, clap clap clap

FI-RE MILLEN, clap clap, clap clap clap.............................

Al Davis- and this coming from a Broncos fan. He just loves football so much more. There are very few people who I would say honestly love football more than Davis. While he screws up, those failures gnaw at him and gnaw at him. I know that, no matter what happens, he is going to do absolutely everything in his power to assemble a winner. Millen, I never got that feeling. I sort of get a sense of managerial apathy there. If you're going to run my team into the ground, I at least what to know that it's freaking pissing you off and that you are going to stand for it even less than I am.

Besides, Davis has proven he knows the game. It's not like things have changed so much in the past 5 years. If his formula was remarkably successful 5 years ago, then odds are it could still be pretty successful today.

Davis without a doubt ... what exactly has Matt Millen ever done ...EVER!

This would be a fairer pole if you scratched Millen and inserted Scottie Bowman
