I didn't realize there was any defenses that don't match up there CBs and just have them play one side. It's crazy to me to have Boykin on Sherman. Especially when Cobb and Nelson are your top 2 receivers.

I'm just telling you whose responsibility it is and how officials are trained. Once the ball is snapped the line judge and side judge are suppose to get to the goal line. They are looking straight down the line while the field judge has a completely different angle and depth perception can be a problem.

Many CB's don't consider Sherman the best CBin the league because they are CB's and therefore the best. If you want to see what Sherman does matched up against a WR see Sherman v. Johnson (Calvin) 2012 and Sherman v. Boldin 2013.

A few DB's that have seen interviewed about say that they can't or don't consider Sherman the top CB because "he doesn't travel" meaning he only plays one side of the field (very damn well mind you)
