Green Bay at Seattle (1 Viewer)

Harvin is going to be a beast.

Great drive by Seattle.

GE needs to fire the people that thought that was a good commercial and then get a group of dogs to pee on them just for effect.

Why is the field judge #89, who is RIGHT IN FRONT OF THE PLAY, looking at the other guy to see if that's a TD?
Because it's the line judge who has goal line responsibility.
You mean the line judge that starts at the LOS and is 8 yards away has a better angle than the FJ that is standing on the goal line?
I'm just telling you who's responsibility it is. Once the ball is snap the line judge and side judge are suppose to get to the goal line. They are looking straight down the line while the field judge has a completely different angle and depth perception can be a problem.
On that play the LJ was on the LOS (the 8) and the FJ was on the GL.The FJ was right at the pylon and rather than making a call, looked back to the guy that was 5+ yards away.

Just frustrating to me that someone on top of the play can't make a call.

Is it me or is Harvin having a really tough time keeping his balance tonight? This has to be the 2nd or 3rd time he's tripped over his own feet. Anyway, go Harvin!
Not new at all. Been watching the guy for 7 years and he stumbles multiple times every game. His acceleration is too fast for gravity.

What's the stredegy behind having Sherman on Boykin?
Richard Sherman doesn't cover the opposition's #1 WR. This was the case last year as well.
This is the reason why many CB don't consider Sherman the best CB in the league
They don't? Who do they?
Revis and Patrick PetersonA few DB's that have seen interviewed about say that they can't or don't consider Sherman the top CB because "he doesn't travel" meaning he only plays one side of the field (very damn well mind you)
What do you expect them to say?

Peterson had 7 TDs thrown against him last season and Revis was playing in a scheme that doesn't suit his talents. Neither had the season Sherman did.

Sherman is overrated. He gets to play cover 3 more than any other top CB, has the best S in the NFL helping him over top most plays and doesn't have to shadow the opposing best WR.

Those things are his decisions and therefore makes him a worse player?

I'm not saying he is the best CB in the NFL, but what people seem to hold against him are his teammates and the game plan that the coaches call.

I'm not saying he isn't good. He is. He's very good. He's just not the best CB. Not even close IMO.

Kind of reminds me of the Nnamdi/Champ argument from years ago. Nnamdi never shadowed the opposing team's #1 either and things fell apart when he moved to a system where he was asked to (among other reasons).

I'm not sure he's the best CB either but much of the criticism against him seems to be not about his gameplay but about his teammates and the defensive game plan. Seems an odd way to assess his skill set...

Wow.

That probably pissed off most fantasy football owners there...
Why would you say that? I'm playing against a team starting Rodgers and Lacy.

I'm fairly happy about it.
Clearly I didn't check your roster...

What about his rooster?
