Hack's Industrial, Techno & 90's Electronica Favorites - Friday Night Dance Party (1 Viewer)

Weren't they KMFDM roadies who made some music on the side? Kind of similar to Pigface for me, where I liked them for 6 months or so. With that said, I retained 3 songs that I liked by them, the one which you linked, then

Temptation - https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=d275TcSXVyI

Admit - https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=rWCGCLLA4HQ

He has quite a few good songs, very industrial rock with more rock than industrial for most songs. Some of their recent stuff is decent which is rare for artists making music for 30+ years. There is one artist who loosely/occasionally fits the thread that I feel Pig was heavily influenced by, they were briefly on WaxTrax so they should be fine. Will see if they turn up.

Always liked Join in the Chant - https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Ty2ho-ZR1bU and Getting Closer - https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=fzpFymqOVTU, but never really got into them much.

Also, how is AARP treating you guys?
Nitzer Ebb  . Saw them open for Depeche Mode in 1990. They were awesome.

How about some Industrial/Post Punk hybrid stuff:

The Fusspils 11 cover of Where the Wild Roses Grow by Nick Cave - https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=XH7l7mLu9As

Chrome - Animal - https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Vw5N3vtjW5o

Foetus - Has a ton of great songs, though some tend to be less electronic sounding, lots of orchestral type stuff:

How to Vibrate - https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=IwcsRfGGwBM

Hammer Falls - https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=BT8zSFZfm4s

Flesh Volcano (Marc Almond and Foetus collaboration) - Bruisin Chain - https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=mo6OyFVQuxI

Also, drifting away from Industrial for a bit:

Tal M. Klein -

I saw him live DJing a house set maybe 15 or so years ago, the set was great and I still have a 10 minute clip I took that was great where half of it was a remix of Lords of Acid - Horny and half is the song below. The song above does not sound the same, but it is something. I could not find anything of the set online. I don't want to upload the show that I have, as it is not mine.

Dark Love - Only You - https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=HVt3pLLz0n0

Not Tal M. Klein, but I recall this song (remixed?) from his same set mentioned above. First time I have actually heard it removed from the set.

Lords of Acid - Horny - https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=AJPxLTosdEk

Probably one of the best Lords of Acid songs anyway IMO, added because it was mentioned above.

He also has music beyond the set that is decent, but I am not familiar with it.

Circling back around to Pig, some other Japanese side projects of Raymond Watts:

Schaft - mainly in collaboration with the Japanese band Buck Tick:

Cold Light (Keim remix) live - https://www.nicovideo.jp/watch/sm15861383 (could not find it on youtube, sorry!)

Broken English - https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=NtO__69R9J0

Also, the band Schwein which was Raymond Watts, more Buck Tick, as well as other people from KMFDM including Sasha K:

Fantasia (Kosh Mix) - https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=OCd_due01YA

Great, I killed the thread. Here is some more music in penance.

Pegboard Nerds - Electro-housy dubstep stuff, I dunno. Once again falls in the category of primarily liking songs from one album:

FrainBreeze - https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=5BQz5uUMTqs

Rocktronik - https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=CzQkLV6QdYc
Checking this out now. In the meantime, Friday Night Dance Party Starts Now....moving to more electrónica and DJs and techno vibe tonight.

Start it off with Propellerheads, famous for Take California.  This is my favorite song on their top album decksanddrumsandrockandroll.

I thought of this song but figured it would get bounced out of the thread for being pop.

The Rogue Element - More danceable house stuff?

Backbreaker - https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=MsFf-z28xgk

Sunrise Leaves Me Blind - https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=2m0i_VgWKx8 -  - super chill with vocals, great song

Calm - https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=jNQErYXPgak - very breakbeaty
Now we are talking.  I love the Breaks.  UK breaks from the 2000s is the bomb.
