Has been racking up tackles in last two games. Sleeper??

It means he is the SS as opposed to the FS.he is officially starting over Ferguson not Lynch. Whatever that means. LOL
I know what you were implying...but it is important to state who he is starting over as it defines what position he is actually playing on the field. If they had stated he starting in place of Lynch, he could be lining up at FS rather than SS which has a huge impact on the fantasy world. My point was that Lynch hasn't played the past several weeks.
Any know if he's gonna start? Lynch is supposed to be back this week.
I believe the gamebook reads differently, but I think Abdullah was in the lineup at SS for Ferguson. I'm expecting him to start with Lynch this week if everyone is healthy.Any know if he's gonna start? Lynch is supposed to be back this week.

The Broncos are much-improved against the run since adding an eighth man to the box after the bye week. While primarily using seven men in the box through their first five games, the Broncos allowed an average of 187.6 yards per game. After adding a defensive back to linebacker row, the Broncos have allowed 105.3 yards rushing in four games since the bye, a 44 percent improvement.
Perhaps more significant, the Broncos allowed six rushing touchdowns before the bye, which ranked 28th in the league, but only one rushing TD since, which ranks third over that four-game span.
Chin up. In body, Nick Ferguson has been replaced in the starting lineup by Hamza Abdullah. In position, Ferguson's strong safety position has gone to Domonique Foxworth. Abdullah has been playing John Lynch's free safety spot.
Considering Ferguson lockers next to Foxworth and is a couple of feet from where Abdullah dresses, there could be some awkward, downtime moments in the Broncos' locker room. Yet, Ferguson, Foxworth and Abdullah have been cutting up and sharing laughter this week in the locker room.
"I'm a professional," Ferguson said.
Lynch, by the way, has been practicing and is expected to play Monday for the first time since suffering a neck injury three weeks ago against Green Bay.
"Real encouraged," Lynch said. "The strength is coming back."
It's unknown whether Lynch will start or how much he might play.
Hmmm... Looks like I was right about Lynch and Abdullah playing the same position!Aaron Rudnicki said:http://www.denverpost.com/broncos/ci_7476300Ferguson appears to be done with Abdullah and Foxworth both ahead of him on the safety depth chart now.Briefs: Adjustment bears fruit

Abdullah SS // Lynch FSdid he start? If so for who Lynch or Furgie
I see this differently. Since Abdullah is SS, he'll creep up in run support and get points that way rather than the passes defended and/or interceptions. All four of those opponents will be running a lot - due to having superior RBs vs. poor QBs. I didn't say KC & HOU have good RBs, just superior to their QB. I expect Abdullah to continue in the 6-8 tackle range.tommyk7 said:He's been ok but I really don't like his matchups for the rest of the season - KC, HOU, SD, MIN. I will say though that those teams have below-average QB play and he could get a couple of picks off errant throws.
KC only ran the ball 17 times, and completed very few downfield passes. Denver was just too dominant. What was up with his low production this week? Result of the matchup? Injury? Did he get replaced? I'm not really sure what to think for next week right now.
