I haven't even seen them yet and they are bothering me. I'm sure I'll enjoy myself later but right now I'm questioning why I look forward to holidays.

How is everyone else doing?

People point and laugh at all the people camped out in those lines but I'm guessing more than half of them are willing to pay money for an excuse to avoid interacting with some(or all) of their family members. And it's not that they hate spending time with those people, they may just hate spending time with the people under "holiday conditions".

My wife's sister and bil are here with their three children all under five. I have honestly heard their kids say "no" more than the parents. Take a bath "no", go to bed "no". WTF!

This morning their two sons got up about 530, and woke my two sons up. Mine are 9 and 11, and were watching them when I got up at 7:30. The parents got up at 9:00 because they had a long day the day before. It's funny that when we had the young kids they were not up with them in the morning, they were sleeping. Now they expect us to have sympathy for them. I have four children and they talk to us like we don't know what it's like to have young kids.

Her Bil pays someone 30 a week to mow his 150 square feet of yard, but they are hurting for money.

I could go on.

From a month ago when I found out we were eating at 2pm on Thanksgiving. WTF?!?! Why so late people???

The only family with me is my wife and she has been annoying as hell. Here I do all the cooking and the clean up not to mention now I have to run around to various places for her today and she is giving me crap. I am very much nearing the end of my patience with it. To make it worse I am very low on self medication herbs. Since I don't drink these days she may not make it through. Pray for her or something because without an immediate attitude change she ain't making it. The only thing saving her up to now is I don't want to leave the kittens without a strong male influence in their lives.

It was really nice of my father, just before sitting down to eat, to look at my mid section, poke it, then exclaim "Hey you look like me! Are you gaining weight!?" Really did wonders for my appetite. And also the sprinkling of Obama hate throughout the day was a nice touch as well. Especially since it was laced with racism.
