Best scene is when Harold's mom fills out the questionaire. Great flick.

yeah, just a great performance for him. And his face while driving that car near the end, just absent, pale, I mean, it was perfect - really moving.

Just watched it for the first time last night. Awesome movie. I nearly soiled myself when he 'lit himself' on fire(2nd blind date).

Ruth Gordon was amazing in her role as Maude. I saw this movie for the first time in high school (late 80s)! One of my teachers played our class two movies - I remember this one. Don't recall what the other one was. Strange choice for him to play in class - couldn't get away with that today I don't think. Anyway, the music really makes the movie. Strange but very good.
