Harry Douglas hurt today (1 Viewer)

Who is potentially WR #3 now?Aaron Kelly??? Brian Finneran???
I could be wrong, but I believe Finneran hung it up this off season. I think he got tired of the injuries and surgeries.
nope finnerans still with the teamhe does am radio in the offseason but hes back at flowery branch practicing with the teami would think some of the gadget and slot plays they had planned for douglas would go to norwood. they seem like similar players to me although diff positions obviously

I could see Norwood getting more work like that....bump him up a couple slots now?

Not sure the Falcons would take on a guy with Matt Jones', uh, history given the recent developments with their former high profile QB and their newfound commitment to "high character" players. While I wouldn't mind one bit Jones being a Falcon, I think it unlikely Arthur Blank will pull the trigger on this.
Latest word is that the Falcons are about to sign a WR, maybe two, in the light of their continued stance against Roddy White's holdout and the loss of Douglas. This should be announced "very soon," as early as later tonight. If not Matt Jones, it may be Marvin Harrison.

Here's one signed:

Falcons sign free agent WR Robert Ferguson Analysis: The Falcons started to re-stock their group of wide receivers today by signing wide receiver Robert Ferguson to a one-year contract, according to his agent Brian Overstreet. <p> Ferguson, 6-foot-1, 209 pounds has played in 83 games with 34 starts. He had 151 career catches for 1,993 yards and 13 touchdowns. (AJC.com)
