Please don't interpret my Like as an endorsement for suspending me. I just want everybody else to be suspended. Thanks for your consideration.
People talk about self-policing, but when it comes to it they are too emotionally invested in their political views. Is it really that hard to not make arguements personal? When people resort to personal comments it is destructive to the discussion and an intellectually lazy tactic.

Was it reported? Joe has been pretty clear that they moderate based on reported posts. If something isn’t reported with the report button, don’t expect anything to happen.

I am serious. Can you provide a recent post/quote of these other posters who accuse others of being racist "based on nothing"?
And what specifically in the Talib thread? I don't recall anything like that today.

There were actually days where there were discussions on topics without a single personal attack. That had not happened for years.

If you twist your mind into a pretzel and do a mental backflip you'll be able to see it.
There is no twisting involved. We dove into this before and we went back to a post he recieved a TO for and he reiterated that he stands behind this:
"Yes, I agree. The issue here is the disgraceful, pathetic, rage-inducing duplicity of many conservatives who have co-opted anti-Semitism for their own Islamophobic political gain on the one hand while doing virtually everything they can to ignore of even embrace white nationalism on the other hand. They are duplicitous bloodsuckers feeding on bigotry. This poster is merely echoing their disingenuous garbage on a much smaller stage."
He was just being a bit more subtle in his vileness today.

So we are going from “Its now ok to call posters racist” to claiming we know someone meant?
Because it mirrors what he said today and when I pointed that specific old post out today he says he still stands by that. This type of discussion has no place on this forum. Just because you wrap it in a bit nicer package with inuendo instead of a club does not change the essence of the attack.
