Instagram, Snapchat, Twitter, fb, etc.   There are so many ways to consume real time info these days, that you don't have to go digging around football forums for information.  Social media post & a link are all you need to drive traffic.

Maybe if Joe Bryant or David Dodds started posting social media links to the forums we could get some fresh meat in here.

Well, twitter was designed for folks that care a whole lot more about talking than they do listening..... so that's why it's so embraced by the majority of folks on the internet now.

 
I was here back in the day decent posters actually tried to post in the Shark Pool. Has to be a few years. 

 
At this point when I refer to something FBG said it's no different than me talking about one of my friends or family. No one even blinks an eye anymore.

Hmm I'm 42...been around for a good 17-18 years or so...in another 6 years you all will have been in my life for more than half of it.

 
i guess i finally started a full name here in 2005 according to the profile machine up there but i was around before that without a name just reading which i guess probably a lot of people wish i would stuck to bam that is a major burn on myself right there take that to the bank brochachos

can't remember when I started poking around here... 03, 04...for rankings, IIRC, and probably to skim the shart ool. 

like wikkidpissah, I was a fanball forum regular. really nice, but smaller group of people over there. I remember wanting to find a place to blab about the 2006 world cup, because the fanball group only had a couple of guys interested in it. found a thread or three about it here in the FFA and pretty much never left. I vaguely remember the fanball revolt wikkid mentioned... but also remember some of it centering around one nutso, vindictive poster and ff league-mate and thought... bleh- its' all a mess- time to move on.

 
I've been posting here for 9.5+ years.  My 10-year anniversary is next April.  But I was lurking about for several years before that.

if it makes you feel any better, our last knowledge is that vindictive poster was f'real living in an abandoned vehicle in Dead Woman Crossing OK and using the facilities on the campus of SW Ok St U to complete his daily ablutions and rituals.

 
I was on Ole Yeller back in the day as a HS student.  Moved to the new board during college.  Was about a month late making the transition because...college.  Now chilling here as a newly 33 year old with my peeps.  Do the kids still say peeps?

 
Celebrated 10 years last January. And by celebrate, I mean I forgot all about it. Probably didn't even sign in that day.

Poster started with an "A"? Definitely something of the on meds/ off meds personality there.

 
Since 2005 I think, which is about 40% of my life. Damn I'm getting old which means lots of you guys are getting really old.
