I watched the episode again at lunch today, and noticed a couple little things I didn't notice the first time (because I was drunk and/or tired).like, when Ser Rodrick(?) comes in to tell Bran that the other town is under attack, and Bran tells him to take the men to defend it, there's some creepy guy milling around in the shadows kind of listening in. I figure they wouldn't show that if it wasn't important. maybe a Greyjoy plant?and also how bad*ss Ghost looks while standing on the hill watching the night watch guys set up camp in the snow. he looks huge!
here's something else I picked up from a repeated viewing that maybe all you guys got right away and I'm just dumb...at first, the way that the assassin guy (the one that Arya saved) talks was bugging me. I was like why does he say "a man this" and "a girl that"? I thought he was just a weirdo. then it hit me. talking like that means he never has to say his own name, or someone else's name that he doesn't know or want to say. if no one ever knows your name, then you can assume whatever identity you want. nobody can ever track you down by saying "go find and kill Bill" or identify you easily by saying "Steve gave her the poison mushroom". without a name, you become a shadow or a rumor or a chameleon. pretty slick.or maybe he's just a weirdo.
