Marlins placed RHP Henry Owens on the 15-day disabled list, retroactive May 9, with right shoulder rotator cuff tendinitis.

A big loss for the Marlins. The club could rush Jorge Julio back into the closer's role.

What about a 14 teamer? I do have a DL slot, but Mauer's taking it up right now, so I'm a man down for 10 days or so. I'm in ok position in the standings, so I'll probably just roll the dice. I ax Quentin and Duffy to add Acardo and Julio though. Accardo I feel great about. Julio, nightmare time, but he can string a few good months together, and I don't see Owens taking it back. The words Rotator Cuff are major red flags to me.
