he's the most interesting man in the NFL (1 Viewer)

DeAndre Levy. Besides being one of the most under appreciated players in the game and maybe the best OLB out there, he is the most badass guy in the NFL off the field. Check out his instagram:

Good point. By that criteria, Larry Fitzgerald one of the most interesting NFL players off the field.

It is interesting how he's 3 years removed from his last 1000 yard season but still considered one of the game's top WRs by some. You can blame the QB all you want, but we've seen top WRs produce under lesser QBs.

I also disagree that Watt is anywhere near Gronk as a TE. He can crush goal line fades for days. But Gronk is an elite blocker and receiver. Literally the best TE ever.

I'm shocked this opinion came from you.
Are there people that really believe that isn't the case still?
Other than staying healthy (which I believe is chance) I think it's the case. I hadn't thought about it but it's a legit conversation.

Turned 26 like a week ago and has 61 TDs under his belt after missing significant time in two of his five seasons.

What does Larry do? Levy walks on the wings of flying planes, kills and eats animals in the Amazon and drinks 40s with villagers in the Andes.

Chuck Norris is inspired by DeAndre Levy

Potentially the best ever but needs to do it a fed more years, IMO.
Hypothetically if he retired tomorrow, he'd still be in the conversation. Similar to sayers and bo. I don't want to put anyone above Gonzo, but Gronk has a good argument. Obviously system, qb, and coach help.

That said, I disagree as to whether watt is close to Gronk. He is.

In my opinion it would take 2 or 3 more dominant years, and then another 2 or 3 good ones to pass Gonzo.
That seems a little much. No one has been as dominant as Gronk. Gonzo was a compiler for much of his career, not that he isn't one of the best, but he was never as dominant as Gronkowski.

Longevity as the best at his position for years vs a couple years on top. How many years has Gronk been the best TE?But Gronk is an interesting guy for sure. https://youtu.be/OkQjmhNOKF4

I'm not saying that they'd be equal if they switched today, but I think they are 2 very similar athletes with similar work ethic. If Watt had spent his entire career at TE, I think he'd be just as good (and vice versa).

Randall Cunningham, with the Eagles.

Some of the greatest highlight plays ever. Not going down against Carl Banks, and then throwing a TD; Avoiding Bruce Smith for a safety in the end zone, then throwing it 60 yards to Fred Barnett who caught a jump ball and ran into the endzone for a 99 yd TD. Finally, his wind aided 90 yard punt vs. the Giants which totally changed field position into the Eagles favor helping them win the game. Every Sunday, you weren't sure what he was going to do next.

I'm surprised Dez Bryant hasn't gotten more responses as much as the media fixates on his every (potentially bad) move and the cameras follow him on the sideline. Not to mention his fantastic catches. :)

It's refreshing to see such a bold, self confident wide receiver.

This is confusing. A lot of top WRs over the years have been bold, confident premadonnas.

Not your favorite or guys you consider to be the best at their positions, but what players do you enjoy watching more than others?

For me -

QB - Cam Newton. He's right, noone else has ever really been the player he's trying to be. Others have come close, others have been better in each facet; Vick was a better runner, many have been better passers. There are others better at the 2 minute drill. He's frustrating at times. But for pure excitement, few come close. Honorable mention: Russell Wilson

Def - JJ Watt. Is there a player who plays better? He's simply a technician and his coach isn't afraid to utilize him in many ways. HM: Justin Houston

WR - Desean Jackson. Not the best receiver by any stretch, but if he catches the ball, watch out. HM: OBJ

What players would you suggest keeping an eye on, for the excitement they bring?
:excited:
