Hightower nearly benched for Torain (1 Viewer)

Does anyone know why FBG has Hightower as RB28 and Torain RB39 going forward? I used to like the top 200 list but unexplainable rankings without explanations usually leaves me a tad baffled. I wish they would put notes next to players.

I dont buy into the top 250 going forward all that much, but since I offered a few trades tonight, I did check it out and was surprised to see them have Graham as TE1 and both Newton and Stafford QB5-6, IIRC. Usually that ranking is way behind the curve because they dont want to give up too early on guys they liked preseason, or overrate guys who have had a few good games 4 weeks in.As far as rankings with explanations, Im loving Bloom's weekly projections/notes this year

Is it possible that Hightower resumes his role from a couple of weeks back?

A few things to remember

1/ Hightower was injured in last weeks game.

2/ Despite what some people claim Torain was nearly cut toward the end of preseason.

3/ You NEVER know what Shanahan is thinking. It is all together possible that Hightower dominates carries next game and Torain goes back to the bench.

4/ Torain is the most fragile player in the NFL.

I wouldn't cut ties with Hightower just yet

Just because bloggers and beat reporters thought he might be cut doesn't mean Shanahan ever considered it. Anything you heard about him being cut was based off of speculation.

Yeah, the same speculation that said John Beck was the starting QB.

season is still early. he may be the starter if grossman keeps throwing the way he has been. only reason the skins have been contenders in these past weeks is 100% based on the play of the defense. they have been playing beyond expectations. the 3-4 is working - just got landry back on the field. they should come out of the bye week and give philly a beating we will remember for a looong time

When Torrain is healthy and starts, he produces. Shanny likes him, and he did the most with his opportunity last week. Expect 20 carries in week 6. He's also the goal line back. Look at his numbers last year when he played. He was the man, and he played like it.

i dont mind the gamble of a player that rested 3 weeks. played awesome his first debut of the season. then hit bye week only to come back to a division rival game at home.panthers after that as wellI R EXCITE

Interesting..I figured you traded him to the Torain owner. I certainly wouldve bit the bullet to pick up Torain and stick it out for a week and have him and THT on my roster (couldnt do that though since Torain was already rostered in my leagues). I dont think itll be RBBC, itll be Torain until he gets hurt and the THT. Theres value there it looks like.Just wondering, what did you trade THT for?

Anyone putting THT in the lineup with the news that he's the "starter"?

Might put him in the flex over DWill because Philly is so bad he probably will get 10+ touches but not sure I trust skeletor

I own Hightower and Torain in two leagues and I dropped him in one yesterday just to see if he would get picked up. No interest whatsoever. Can't trade him, can't play him.

Finally dropped Hightower in my 12team ppr. I have alot of bye week players this week. Need all my roster space. I am really stacked at rb anyways and have Torain so whatever.
