Hot tub cover lift advice (1 Viewer)

Wife and I would like to get a cover lift for our hot tub.

Neither of us want a lift that mounts on the side, but those seem to have better reviews than the lifts that slide under the hot tub.
Not to mention we would have to empty the hot tub to install. However, some reviews state the side mounts eventually break.

Appreciate any advice or suggestions.

I one I had on mine that I liked wasn't a "lift" but rollers. Arms mounted on the back that hung straight down.. you lifted and snapped them into place, folded the cover over in half and then "rolled" it onto the arms...

Is there such a thing as a hot tub with a retractable dome? That would be the bomb!

Have the side mount one. I really like it.

I've had both - I prefer the side mount. Three years no issues.
