HOU WR Andre Davis.. (1 Viewer)

...if you're in a pinch.

I noticed he made the prelim cheatsheets against ATL in a spot where you don't normally see WW guys projected.

Johnson is out, Jacoby Jones is out..ATL's Passing defense is in the top quarter of NFL teams, but you have to figure that Schaub has spent alot of time platying with the 2's in ATL against the 1's he will be going against this week. Ahman Green is dinged and Houston may need to look to open up intermediate lanes to utilize off of play action to keep him fresh.

This is great news for Owen Daniels owners and possibly for owners sneaky enough to slip in a guy like Davis (who was SICK at VA Tech and who looked electric last week) into their rosters in favor of a bobby engram, mushin muhammed, nate burleson, etc.

mark it down!! 70 yds and a TD!!!!

Didnt he dislocate his finger last week? We have seen what this injury has done to the likes of Crayton as far catching passes with the pain.

I found this nugget on fantasy sharks"I think that’s a very good possibility. He showed that he’s played before. He went in there and he was very effective, made big plays. He’s got some speed. So I think you’re definitely going to see him more. Does he start this week? We’ll see. We’ll see how this week goes," Kubiak said. Apparently, the dislocated finger will not prevent him from playing.

 playing vs catching the ball = BIG difference there...I'm a little leary myself, but will keep an eye on the reports this week, because he is in an optimal situation if the injury doesn't bother him too much

Im not worried about him playing. Houston really has no choice but to play him. Crayton didnt missed any time with this. However, like Crayton, Im worried he wont be able to hang onto the ball. For a lack of a better way to put it, he will be used more as decoy to help spread the attention from healthier options. especially after proving to be somewhat of a threat last week.
