Texans | D. Davis injury update

Thu, 10 Aug 2006 17:34:28 -0700

Associated Press reports Houston Texans head coach Gary Kubiak said RB Domanick Davis (knee) is still bothered by a knee injury. "We're hoping for Domanick to get back," Kubiak said. However, Kubiak said if the knee continues to give Davis problems the team is going to have to find someone else that can step up and be the team's starting tailback.

I guess if we can read between the lines we have to face the facts that Davis might not play this year.

Thanks for the misleading title.I am admittedly worried now about Davis. He was expected back before the preseason, and now he has what looks like (heard it before, didn't want to admit it :bag: ) a chronic knee problem. It's a damn shame, and I'm going to be pretty sad if he doesn't fully heal. But in other news, Vernand Morency all the way.

What makes people think Tatum Bell would be a success in Houston, when he can't beat out Mike Bell, Mike Anderson or Ron Dayne? Why would Kubiak want him in Houston, when he didn't even want him in Denver?
