Fitzpatrick "played within himself." He "managed the game" by mixing ball control runs, passing when needed, and avoiding sacks and penalties. His passer rating was 98.7. This was an excellent gameplan. The Texans had nearly 400 yards on offense with Foster a dominant force and main weapon.

The problem was how the Steelers fouled things up by scoring 3 TDs and 3 FGs. 30 points is more than 23.

Solid gameplan, though, led by Harvard grad Fitzpatrick.

In a real world he is a top 10 MVP candidate. One of the few who are exceptional irregardless of what the team does -he is un-guardable.
