44 assists for the Home team Redskins!
Ridiculous....
Ridiculous....
So what are you trying to say.44 assists for the Home team Redskins! Ridiculous....
I am saying that the Redskins home scorekeeper clearly is biased towards the Skins players which makes them an intriguing fantasy play. They lead the league in assists. Also, Fletcher got credit for 2 pd when he didn't touch the ball or dislodge it from an intended receiver with a hit. He simply was in the area of the play. So it appears they are lenient with pd as well. This is to help point out the contrast to the Rams home games where the Rams players got a total of 17 assists credited in their 8 home games last season. So what are you trying to say.44 assists for the Home team Redskins! After you posted this I started looking at all the different stats lines for assists and I do not think any other game is even close. This could be a huge boost for your squad if you own skins d players. Nice catch on this Johnnyboy. Not sure why this is so hard to comprehend. A simple review of game films and glancing at gamebooks is all that is needed here. The 2 plays in which London Fletcher got credited with pass deflections didn't involve any tip of the ball or a hit which would dislodge the ball. 44 assist tackles for one home team is an extreme. Some teams are notorious for either being very lenient or very stingy when pertaining to assist tackles. This is an IDP forum and it is good to share with others which teams are very lenient with assists. Hope this helped you understand.
No problem. Now the Skins will face the flip side of that coin and be IN St. Louis this week. The Rams scorekeeper might give 1-2 assists the entire game!!After you posted this I started looking at all the different stats lines for assists and I do not think any other game is even close. I own BOTH DeAngelo Hall AND Laron Landry.. they might be due for a let-down game.. this could be the one.Now the Skins will face the flip side of that coin and be IN St. Louis this week. The Rams scorekeeper might give 1-2 assists the entire game!!
Very true! Rams had only 15 assist at home last year compared to 97 on the road. The NFL average in 2009 was just under 13 per team/26 a game. In Rams 2010 home opener, 0 assist awarded to them.Skins played nearly 5 quarters last week, but had the game not went into overtime I imagine they still would have had close to 40. No team had more than 39 last year (Detroit week 13 @ Cincinnati). No problem. Now the Skins will face the flip side of that coin and be IN St. Louis this week. I wonder how many of those 15 assists awarded were due to 2 players splitting a sack (so both get assists on the play)? I bet 10 or so assists were given all season on non-sack plays! lolLarry Thomas said:Very true! Rams had only 15 assist at home last year compared to 97 on the road. Landry should be ok since he's had 21-7 in the first two games. Most of his tackle production has been solos. Also, Landry blitzed Schaub a ton last week. Not sure what the final count was, but I'd guess he rushed at least 10 times. Conventional wisdom is usually to blitz rookie QBs, so Landry could possibly get a sack or two this week.Hall, on the other hand, is at 11-10 in the first two games. His production has been heavily influenced by assists.I own BOTH DeAngelo Hall AND Laron Landry.. they might be due for a let-down game.. this could be the one.Now the Skins will face the flip side of that coin and be IN St. Louis this week. McIntosh Threadso is it safe to say that McIntosh will continue to be the LB that is set up to get the most tackles, it would appear to me that he is playing the (patrick willis) WILB role instead of Fletcher?
