Raider Nation
Devil's Advocate
In the late-80's, he was selling out Madison Square Garden and other huge arenas.
Now he's a rodent for Sprint.

Dude was a legend in his time. When I first saw him on Rodney Dangerfield's young comedian's special on HBO, I had never laughed so hard in my life. There was no comedian like him. Filthy as you could ever imagine, yet hilarious. He's lucky to have any gig at all.

Did you catch his reality show about 7 or 8 years ago? VH1, maybe? It was pretty sad. He was old, bloated and generally unhappy.I saw him in Vegas two years ago, he gotbadly by a heckler. Then his gf or wife or whatever fell over drunk on all the Dice merchandise, it was awesome. He forgot a couple of his punchlines but the
value alone was worth the price of admission. I'm shocked he's not dead.
No but get this, the first 20 minutes of the comedy show was the highlights of that show.Did you catch his reality show about 7 or 8 years ago? VH1, maybe? It was pretty sad. You're thinking of Pauly Shore.unless he's sucking ##### for beer money under a bridge somewhere, he hasn't fallen very far.
Ba-da-bing, ba-da-boom.Go on.....Hickory, dickory, dock

Encyclopedia Brown said:Lisa Lampanelli: (at one of the Roasts): Dice, what happened to your career? Who would have ever guessed that nursery-rhyme jokes would have a shelf life?
Definitely not true. I just missed the second paragraph.Encyclopedia Brown said:Lisa Lampanelli: (at one of the Roasts): Dice, what happened to your career? Who would have ever guessed that nursery-rhyme jokes would have a shelf life?![]()
It's like you don't even read my posts.
Dice never stole money, AFAIK. So, Phil.Worse human: Dice or Phil Hughes?
Helluva lead-in to the Art Carney situation, though.
You knew he was destined for big things after this early appearance: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=N6O42HTulVA
I had no idea that was him. I was too busy ogling Judy Greer. In the late-80's, he was selling out Madison Square Garden and other huge arenas.

Saw him too back in college in 1989. We loved it at the time, but definitely a one-trick pony.I saw him live. I expected it to be great, but it was really the same stuff that I had seen on Diceman Cometh. I mean the exact same jokes. Disappointing.
Wait.... he's a hamster? The randomness of Andrew Dice Clay as the father figure who is also a hamster is so random that it is funny. We need more abstract thinking like that. I usually don't like advertisements, but that one is so far out I'm cool with it.
Gallagher at least brought up the sales of sledgehammers and watermelons. "What A Country" can only get you so far.Not as far as Yakov Smirnof or Gallagher.
He's still alive?Saw him too back in college in 1989. We loved it at the time, but definitely a one-trick pony.I saw him live. I expected it to be great, but it was really the same stuff that I had seen on Diceman Cometh. I mean the exact same jokes. Disappointing.
Yes, reincarnated as a hamster. He's still alive?Saw him too back in college in 1989. We loved it at the time, but definitely a one-trick pony.I saw him live. I expected it to be great, but it was really the same stuff that I had seen on Diceman Cometh. I mean the exact same jokes. Disappointing.
A classicI loved him as Ford Fairlane.
Conversation with Zuzu Petals was like masturbating with a cheese grater: slightly amusing, but mostly painful.I loved him as Ford Fairlane.
Yakov was on WTF ahwile back. He's spent the last 20 years performing for about 2,000 people/night, 5 times a week (over 4 million total), bought his own theater, earned a masters and teaches at colleges, etc. Compare that to Dice's last 20 years and he would wish he'd "fallen" as far as Yakov (the two are friends and were roommates when starting in comedy, btw.)Not as far as Yakov Smirnof or Gallagher.
