So as an example the answer here is 14 hours.I officially work 28 hours a week. Of that I’m probably working half of it. That half can be intense so they get their moneys worth out of me X 2.

You sound like a straight shooter with upper management written all over youWell, I generally come in at least fifteen minutes late, ah, I use the side door - that way Lumbergh can't see me, heh - after that I sorta space out for an hour. Yeah, I just stare at my desk, but it looks like I'm working. I do that for probably another hour after lunch too, I'd say in a given week I probably only do about fifteen minutes of real, actual, work.
Avatar checks out10-20. Don't tell my boss
It was 75, but now we are closed on Monday's, so it's only 65 now on most weeks.

While I'm nowhere near 24 / 7 / 365, this post resonated with me. If I only count time in the office or in a meeting, it often ain't much. Discounting travel I tallied 15 hours this week. This coming week my work day will be done by 2 pm at least 3 days and the other 2 probably won't be much later. I only field unscheduled calls off hours from a few select people, and very rarely respond to emails. That’s a tough one. I run an 80 person company, so I’m getting calls and emails about all kinds of things at all hours. And I do a lot of “thinking” about things.
The actual number of hours is probably 20-40 based on the week, but it’s also 24/7/365.
