How much money did you win? (1 Viewer)

I won about 24,000 on Fanduel this season. I won about 1,000 in season long. Overall + 25,000 this year for Fantasy Football.

$1500 in my keeper league. Up approximately $500 in fanduel, depending on tonight's game. Good job JS. Nice boost to the Xmas budget.

You know, I don't normally "air my business", and truth be known it isn't all that special.

But I have had an extremely good year, playing in only 3 money leagues. (I'm not like some of these whores playing in 20 leagues)

In one league, I have essentially a lock for 3rd place, despite being the league leader in points close to an average of 10% a week.

Its a very small $$ league, but after 7 years its about pride. (never won any, in fact never gotten past the first round, and been to the playoffs 5 years of 7) :(

The good news is, in the other 2 big leagues I went to the championship game yesterday, despite never being in a championship all my life. (I always got knocked out round 1, literally every time)

Long story short, in one league I have a 30 point lead in standard scoring, and he has CJ Anderson tonight, and I have Demaryius. (this should* be an easy win)

In my biggest league, I have Demaryius an 12.30 point lead, and he has CJ Anderson. (This has a good chance of a win also)

Ironically enough, I'm actually against the same manager in both leagues too. One is a 10 teamer and the other is a 12 teamer.

I suppose with the side bets I have made, and overall entry/prize money, I will turn about a $1500-$1700 profit overall. (the other guy wanted to make a deal for the 1st and 2nd $$$ in both leagues combined, with a couple hundred extra in the event one of us sweeps the other in both)

But, that money won't change my life.

After all those years of reading, studying, working the wire, streaming defenses, podcasts, overcoming a truly mind boggling unfair number of injuries in most seasons, and just being a dedicated fantasy player........... I'm finally on the verge of winning at least one championship, and possibly two in the same year, of only three leagues.

Its not about the money for me anymore, its about validation.

For everyone that puts the time in, and actually "plays the game", if you are one of those guys who has always been unlucky, and never won a league, your time will come. Sooner or later you will get the championship.

And boy is it ever so sweet to finally be in this position.

Good luck to all tonight............... ;)

Played one MFL$100 league and won it! ($1000) and wished I played more $100 leagues (played like 8 MFL$10 leagues but only won 1 of those ($100)

About $1500 total. Won my big league for a third time in six years. Cloud nine today! Congrats to everyone else who won!

Lost $75 only because I didn't go for the other leagues in Phenoms. Just wasn't feeling it this year, turned out to be the right decision.

Buy ins total = 560 for 2 dynasties, 5 best ball and fan duel and football guys subscription.

I have 400 in fan duel right now. 300 from one best ball, 115 from one dynasty and another possible 220 if I get 16 points from DT and Barth. So close to 500 profit if everything goes well. Plus 2 wins from those MFL zeros

How come every single post is people who won money? We couldn't have ALL won money right? :P
People who lost (the majority of people) aren't too keen to share because it feels like nothing or worse to lose...and no one here cares about your losses.

Come to think of it, I don't care too much about the wins of others, either.

But it does feel great to win, and the sharing of the news with others compounds that feeling of validation.

Egos...where would we be without them?

Between $1,145 and $1,345 profit (won 2 or 3 of my 6 startup dynasties (first year in dynasty and man I can't believe what I've been missing out on the last 15 years) and won another redraft league. Up additional $750 in fanduel. Best season ever for me but man thats A lot of hard work for $2k.

Barring a miracle tonight, will be -$65 for the year. If D & J Thomas somehow combine for less than 8 points non-PPR, I will be in the black.

IRS has been notified. :bye:
Fanduel does it automatically once you cash out more than 600 or 1000 dollars over your deposited amount.
I cashed out, and I haven't filled out any paperwork or been prompted to. Obviously I am going to claim the money in my taxes, but just letting everyone know I haven't received anything from them yet. The person at the live final said I would receive a 1099.

Random thought, but does anyone know of anyone that has actually cashed large in fanduel? Only a few of my friends play it with any regularity and no one has won more than $50 at any one point-though depending on tonight Im in for $350 most likely. Just wondering..

My husband and a buddy of his played together a couple of years ago and won about 7000 that year. I know they did most of their winning in basketball. They hit 2 or 3 of the big tourneys for 2k each

Sorry I was posting from my phone so it was a quick response. Yes you will receive a 1099 from Fanduel. Got one 2 years ago maybe 3

Not $600,000........ but made the finals in all three of my money leagues.

Will take home $1,404.50 in winnings in all 3 (still waiting on tonight's games, but probably will not win any of the 3 Championships)

I didn't expect to see many "losers" in this thread, but then again the title asks "how much did you win"?.

But trust me, there are plenty of guys who lost. All you have to do is know which threads to check. :)

Check out the "Bragging, venting, crowing, grieving" thread. There is plenty of losing going on in that thread.

A fair bit of censoring though, so you might not know exactly what they are saying. :P

Well, last year I won the championship in 4 of 5 leagues. This year I made playoffs in 3 of 6 and won only 1. Netted about $30 and a ton of fun.

2012: +300

2013: +800

2014: -300 =(

Took some brutal beats on playoff matchups, though. I won 63% of H2H matchups and overall had a dominate season - just lost a ton of semifinal games.

$260 after cutting the pot. Decision netted me an extra $150 thanks to JT, AJ, Rams and Vinatieri.

I have not added it all up but I won the $200,000 RTS Championship tonight by 1.43 pts as long as stat changes hold up (but I do have to split this with my teammate so $100,000 for me)

Please make sure you and I are not in any leagues together. I think you play a lot of leagues in the FPC as well and quite frankly I don't like my odds going against you considering your track record :) Seriously, congrats, that's a great accomplishment!

made playoffs in all three money leagues ($100, $150, $20 entry fee).... only going to win $80 back... so not a great year despite regular season success

I would be puking until Friday when they release the stats. LOL
can you start your own website and I'll pay you $25 a year instead of FBG for fantasy info? seriously... congrats that is an amazing win

yes agreed that is amazing... 100k off fantasy football is iconic. You should almost get your own movie made about you and have your chance to become famous and very wealthy. Legendary shi*. I played in the 200,000 league this year by RTS so me to know what prize we were chasing. Unfortunately we couldn't get our crap together in that league but that is awesome that you and your pal did that because I actually split a team with my cuz....

Thanks everyone for your kind words. Yes it is a little nerve racking waiting for stat changes I had to go through this in 2012 when I won the $110,000 in the NFFC when I finished 1st and 4th overall.

This year I finished 1st and 11th overall in RTS too bad 11th is a drop of $198,500 but I won't feel the weight off my shoulders until Friday and it's confirmed.

Thanks again everyone appreciate the kind words. It's a combination of a lot of work and a lot of luck. My 2 QB's were Cutler and Newton. So when Newton had his car accident then Cutler got benched I thought it might be all over having no QB but then Newton scores 25 pts the fact he even played was a miracle.

Then to go into Monday night down 2.87 with Sanders vs Hill and see Hill rip off an 85 yard TD early in the game it was soul crushing and I was just hoping for 2nd and the horrific fall to $25,000 but then Sanders got those 2 TD's and Hill got bottled up then on the final play to see Hill run 14 yards and fall down and win by 1.43 was a true miracle. The other team had Jimmy Graham as well if they give him that TD on the replay but then again I have Dez and he lost a TD because Romo didn't wait an extra second. A lot of work and a lot of luck.

Looks like a total of 14 championships out of 59 leagues for a total of $237,320 ($125,170 of which is my own winnings).

Thanks again everyone.
