He will continue running the country with his head in a jar and the body of Steve bannon until 2020 when he inevitably gets curious these "lunch codes" are.

Maybe you can update your poll.

resign due to failing health. He won't die in office but he's not going to last 4 years remotely healthy.

I don't like the guy but the odds are always with a President serving 2 full terms.  And even though a lot of Republicans don't like him those non Trumps will be so scared by the evilness of whoever runs against him that they will have to vote for him again.

There are literally odds we can check here, and last I checked they favor both departing before the 2020 election and losing that election to any term beyond January 2021.

edit - nvm

I'm going with resignation before 2020. He''ll do it to avoid certain disclosures or impeachment, after he pardons his whole family.

He'll have to be extracted from the White House and he'll be screaming that a coup is in progress. He'll have no regard for the welfare of the country and will divide the country to the point of violence in the streets.

Right but assuming you're talking about gambling odds those odds don't reflect what the oddsmakers think will happen.  They reflect what the oddsmakers think people will bet.  And Trump is quite unpopular (and was quite unpopular during the 2016 election it's not new).

"Hands on his head, or on the trigger of his gun?"

However it goes down, it will not involve stairs.

This is my guess. I picture him claiming that he accomplished everything he set out to do and there is no reason to run again.
I think this makes sense. Not that I can really imagine but if I was a billionaire I assume there are a lot more fun things I can be doing. Hand the reigns off to Pence and get back to being dirty Don.

Odds his net worth > 1 billion?

Honda. I posted this poll months ago
Out of respect to Cosjobs, I can not and WILL NOT vote in this poll!

Also, I'm drunk.

:banned:   (from gimlets, though. that's gin, btw)

The more I think about it the more I believe he'll suddenly and impulsively resign. One morning the news will break out of nowhere that he's resigning later that day. He'll continue to dominate the news after his resignation.

Sadly, I fear this is the most accurate response.

Can't imagine he's going to be impeached.  Not enough Senate votes for that.  But it wouldn't the end of the liberals' rage.....Trump impeached, welcome Mike Pence at president.  For liberals that care deeply about social issues....Pence would be worse than Trump.

Either two things are going to happen.....1) he gets voted out in 2020, or 2) he leaves office in Jan 2025.

I will say it's a 75-25 probability between the two.  25% reelection chances seem high, but hey, we all thought Trump couldn't get elected in the first place.

Flees the country before 2020.  Probably lands in Russia

Have consistently predicted that Trump will resign citing dementia just before the 2018 midterms.

In handcuffs

Some really bad takes in here.  Jonnymac with the handcuffs does not surprise me.
