He met Beth well after his divorceAll the new guys know how lucky they are and kiss Howard's rearend around the clock. I don't blame Howard on a personal level for wanting to get rid of the tension Jackie caused, but it surely hurt the show. Just like I don't blame him for wanting to leave his wife for a hot young model who only wants him for his fame and money, but that definitely changed the show's dynamic as well.
GMFB Jackie.I think one of the main differences between Stern and O&A fans is that most O&A fans are pretty familiar with Stern's show, and the vast majority were Stern fans at some point. O&A were Stern fans back in the day. I listened when I could from age 13 up until he went to satellite, and I'm certain that his show has dipped in quality. I'd like to try and find some downloads maybe this week to check him out on Sirius because I've only heard bits and pieces, but I'm not optimistic. His last year on terrestrial was pretty bad, the constant #####ing about Bush was intolerable. And I hate Bush too. IMO, he really didn't have that much to talk about at that point. The same thing will happen to O&A at some point as well, I'm sure. At some point, people who were sharp and insightful and funny become doddering old asses.BTW, if anyone's interested in hearing O&A's show, the terrestrial stream is over several stations on www.radiomat.com. 6AM to 9AM Eastern in NY, 10 AM to 1 PM on delay on the SF FreeFM station.I also mentioned him before, but Kidd Chris' show (Sulu Dance, OJ crank calls) is on at 3 ET on WYSP. I defy anyone to find me a funnier show than this, terrestrial or satellite.
I really dont like Artie . . .
Absolutely hilariousThere's high comedy, and then there's Mr. T trying to calm down an enraged Beetlejuice from kicking Artie Lange's ###.

Sirius Satellite Radio Inc., the nation's second-largest satellite radio broadcast provider, said Wednesday that it added 441,101 subscribers in the third quarter, bringing its total subscriber base to 5.1 million.
The company also reaffirmed its outlook of having 6.3 million subscribers by the end of the year.
Rival XM Satellite Radio Holdings Inc. said separately Wednesday that it added more than 285,000 new subscribers in the quarter, bringing its total subscriber base to more than 7.2 million.
Shares of Sirius rose 8 cents to $4.15 in electronic premarket trading. XM shares fell 30 cents to $12.28.
XM shares dip as another director quits and subscriber growth slows to a crawl.
The Washington, D.C., pay radio shop says George Haywood stepped down from the board Tuesday for personal reasons. Haywood, a former private equity investor, is the second director to leave XM's board this year.
The news comes as XM posted weaker-than-expected subscriber gains. For the third quarter, the broadcaster says it added 285,000 net new users, giving it a total of 7.18 million subscribers.
In July, XM cut its year-end subscriber guidance by a million to about 8 million. At that time the company said it had "more than 7 million" subscribers. The company says it will end the year with total subscribers between 7.7 million and 8.2 million.
The paltry subscriber growth reflects the shift in market share gains to rival Sirius. In the second quarter, for example, Sirius racked up more than 600,000 net new users. Notably, though, Sirius adds new unsold cars to its subscriber count, while XM doesn't.
XM also says it stopped counting some rental cars in its user total. This adjustment accounted for about 20,000 subscriptions removed from the third quarter total, the company said.
In February, board member Pierce "Jack" Roberts jumped ship after failing to convince executives that the company's cash burning strategy was in danger of running out of control.
XM says it has notified the Nasdaq that it is now not in compliance with rules that stipulate that the board have a majority of independent directors. The company says it plans to elect replacements at the next annual meeting.
Shares of XM fell 30 cents to $12.28 and Sirius jumped 8 cents to $4.15 in pre-market trading Wednesday
Brooke Skye Claims On-Air Sexual Assault Tampa, Florida shock jock Bubba "The Love Sponge" Clem is being sued along with his producers at Sirius Satellite for allegedly forcing Brooke Skye (Hope Miller), an Internet pornography model, to engage in a contrived sexual action. According to the lawsuit, Miller refused to allow fellow model Melissa Midwest (Melissa Harrington) to penetrate her with a sexual strap-on device. Miller claims that she was then physically forced to allow the penetration by the staff of the radio show. Melissa Harrington and several other individuals are named as defendents in the lawsuit. Miller is also suing for invasion of privacy as pictures and video of the incident have been publicly distributed without her consent.
An adult Web site model who claims she was held down and forced to engage in a sexual act on Bubba "The Love Sponge" Clem's radio show has filed an assault and battery lawsuit against Clem and his producers at Sirius Satellite."Soft-core" Internet model Brooke Skye, whose real name is Hope Miller, says the shock jock threatened bodily harm if she didn't allow porn actress Melissa Midwest to have sex with her using a strap-on device during a June 12 appearance on the Tampa, Fla.-based radio show. The lawsuit, filed Friday, claims Miller expressed fear that the device was too large for her anatomy, but that Clem, whose real name is Todd Clem, ridiculed her."Bubba advised [Miller] that short of 'f---ing a dog,' he and his staff could do anything they wanted on the show," the suit says of Clem, who has made a career out of his outrageous and often controversial antics. "Bubba advised [Miller] that if she did not do what he wanted, he would 'kick your ### out of my studio and tell everybody not to visit the Web site.'"Before she could resist, she claims she was ushered into the studio and pinned to the ground by Clem's staff while actress/model Melissa Midwest, whose real name is Melissa Harrington, penetrated her with the strap-on."Plaintiff indicated verbally that she was in pain, she yelled out 'ouch' and indicated on several occasions prior to and during the sex act that she did not want to participate in performing the act," alleges the suit, which was filed last week in Hillsborough County Circuit Court and posted online by the Tampa Tribune.Miller claims she sustained injuries to her ######l area and is seeking damages for battery, assault and intentional infliction of emotional distress from Clem, his staff, and Harrington. The lawsuit claims the ordeal was videotaped and has since been posted on the Internet, for which Miller is suing the defendants for invasion of privacy."Bubba was both physically and psychologically coercive," said Steve Silton, Miller's Minnesota-based attorney. "They're good at forcing people to do things they don't want to do, but I think this incident went well beyond what was appropriate."Sirius Satellite is also a defendant in the suit for allegedly failing to properly supervise or prevent the foreseeable misconduct of its employees.A spokesperson for the Hillsborough County Sheriff's Office said no police report was filed in connection with incident.Clem is no stranger to controversy. In 2002, the shock jock stood trial on charges of animal cruelty after two hunters slaughtered a live pig for an on-air event called the "Roadkill Barbecue Show."Clem and the hunters were acquitted after they convinced a jury that they had slaughtered the animal in accordance with regulations from the Florida Fish and Wildlife Association.Attorneys representing Clem and Sirius did not respond to calls for comment.
I remember hearing Melissa Midwest strap it on for another (less attractive) girl kinda recently, but I didn't hear anything about this. I'm surprised Brooke Skye allowed for her real name to get out. Oh andAnyone know anything about this or hear this happen on air?

Bubba allegedly said that if Miller did not do as he asked he would, “Kick your ### out of my studio and tell everybody not to visit the website,” the complaint states. The complaint goes on to state that Miller was afraid of the size of the dildo because she had never engaged in this type of intercourse before. The stockholder in me hopes you like it enough to purchase a subscription. Be sure to check out the NFL channel (124) when Jerry Rice is NOT on. Everything about that channel is great except Rice. His talent as a broadcaster is the polar opposite of his talent on the field.Welcome aboard.I'm in for the free trial. I agree 100%. I'll probably cancel it after the Booey roast is aired. There is an occasional treat on it, but they don't do enough to keep it fresh. That Kanyon interview was great, one of the best on Sirius, and it's not even on HTV yet. They'll keep that off, but put up another boring sybian ride (brutal radio btw) and the wheel of farts instead? I'm sure they are waiting 'til tomorrow for Artie to kiss Iris and make it all one segment, but I would have liked to have seen it the day after it was on.Great idea on the free samplings - it should land a lot of new subscribers. If I had my choice I would go Sirius over Howie TV - the price just doesn't justify the content on the TV end.
Big Foot was great today also he wasCommon said:Artie and Blue Iris was GREAT radio.Enjoyed today's show thoroughly
What's this about? Howard has a history with adoption?Missed the football picks this morning but did get to hear the caller call out Howard on the topic of adoption and he straight froze, denied the fact and then hung up on the guy. Guy nailed him and he couldn't even suck it up and admit it. I love the show, but how much he flip-flops at times justs bothers me.
He has been upset about the whole Madonna adoption thing, saying people need to leave it alone, let her adopt whoever she wants and let the kid have a better life, especially since the kid's father gave up him already, he wasn't forced to.However, a caller said he has flip flopped about what a good thing it is to adopt from Africa, since about a month ago he criticized Angelina Jolie for not adopting children in the United States. Howard (and Robin, of course), claims he never said such a thing and hung up on him. I don't remember too many things, but I definitely do remember him saying that. Reminds me of a local sports talk personality here in Philadelphia, who hangs up on people when they bring up something he said that he was wrong about...What's this about? NO, basically today he was off on another #####ing tangent(those happen alot more) commenting on Madonna's troubles with adopting a baby from some foreign country(don't know the whole story but apparenty authorities are saying she didn't follow the whole adoption process and might lose the child). So he goes off defending her saying "this kid lives in poverty and has a chance to be welcomed into a good life and they are going to take that away from him" So the caller comes in and called him out on another rant he had about 2 weeks ago(and I remember hearing it on my way home). Basically two weeks ago he was killing Angelina Jolie about her adoptions and in his exact words were "I don't understand some of these f'n celebs, they go out and adopt these babies from foreign countries. Why don't you adopt babies inside the US and be normal, why do people have to go out and bring more babies into this country"So when the guy called him out on this, he basically said you dont know what you are talking about. Called the guy an a%% hole and hung up on him. Then Robin backed him up(surprise) after she agreed with him two weeks ago on the whole angelina thing.
You had much more detail than I did! It's so great hearing Ralph call in every 10 minutes.wow, that was as weird a form of plagurism that I have ever seen. beat me to it eddie!
Is that really a flip-flop, though? He is arguing against the critics of Madonna who say that she shouldn't be allowed to adopt that kid. It's not the same argument about adopting kids from the U.S. rather than Africa.NO, basically today he was off on another #####ing tangent(those happen alot more) commenting on Madonna's troubles with adopting a baby from some foreign country(don't know the whole story but apparenty authorities are saying she didn't follow the whole adoption process and might lose the child). That's how you make sure you never have a bad day in your life.Reminds me of a local sports talk personality here in Philadelphia, who hangs up on people when they bring up something he said that he was wrong about...
