Huggins to get his shot in Tampa Sunday ? (1 Viewer)

Even though I traded for Huggins in a few leagues recently, what makes everyone think he would start over Graham?
You mean start over Caddy. The hype for Huggins was unjustified. The hype for Blount was unjustified. I think Blount's inactive status is going to mean more carries for Huggins but I'll believe he's replaced Caddy as the starter when I see it.
Having Caddy on your roster is unjustified ;) He sucks in the worst way. I can't imagine having to start that bum.
I don't disagree with that and I've started Caddy twice this year. Only league I have him I have Huggins. Wasting two roster spots. I'd like nothing more than to see Huggins emerge but I've not seen anything to suggest the coaching staff is going in that direction. The OP of this thread has me excited with his report but I just won't believe it until I see it. To many false alarms here already.

Morris = Rutgers = Huggins

so, anyone actually starting him today? Seems the safest thing to do is wait until we actually see him perform on the field, but I know with bye weeks and injuries, some might give him a shot.
:bye: I am - with Carolina and Arizona on vacation I was planning on starting Caddy but have put Huggins in for him....go Huggy boy ;)

I dropped B Jackson for him. The way I see it, since Tim Ryan was right about Blount seeing no action, chances are he could be right about Kareem getting a lot of touches too.

No. A person cannot equal a university.

That's what tipped me over the edge as well to snag him ... as a RB5 on my team, I could do worse. If no dice, then I drop him .. but to be ahead of the curve would be nice.

So the first part of the rumor is true no blount. He is inactive. So heres to hoping any truth in this. Thanks to the op for passin it along.

Graham with a hammy... Huggins non-effective and now with some undisclosed injury, Caddy a bum, I'm betting Blount gets another shot next week..

Potential torn ligaments?

For those of us *still* fishing for value here, this may at least mean Blount is practically the last man standing next week.
With Graham and Caddy still in the Mix...
Well, Graham had zero carries today and somehow still managed to re-aggravate his hamstring injury, so I'm not sure he's much of an issue next week. And with Caddy blowing up with another 10 carries for a 1.8 ypc average, we have to assume he's one step closer to being irrelevant. Of course, he had 11 last week so I guess we should expect 8 or 9 next week as TB slowly phases him out....

I agree that Caddy sucks and is not bringing much to the table when it comes to carrying the ball, but there must be some reason to have him in there.. Good Blocking, blitz pickup.. something... And I agree that Graham being injured is not a good sign for Graham, but he was held out of practices with "Old Legs", I'm guessing the hammy came from either last weeks game or during practice..I think Blount needs to have an exceptional game to unseat these guys. Not that either of them are world breakers, just that common sense hasn't prevailed yet in TB, so we need a glaringly obvious sign before the coaching staff gets the picture.

I'm expecting Graham and Caddy to be apart next week... And I hope Blount starts and gets the most carries, but I wouldn't bet on it..

His season is almost definitely over.FWIW, he did show a nice burst on a few plays today.
4 plays for 14 yards... 3.5 yard average only if you count the 7 yard reception... rushing for 2.3 ypcWhich "plays" (plural) did he show nice burst in?

Cut Blount, added Huggins this morning. Looks like it was the right call based on todays gameplan. But the injury means standing pat would have been better. Welcome to the TB back field

Terrible play calling by Bucs today. Fade pass to Williams seems to be the extent of the play book. Huggins did look like he had a nice burst and it looked like they were committed to getting him involved early.

His first run was a 7-yard gain (I believe). Nice burst through the hole. A few plays later they lined him up in the slot, he burned the linebacker covering him, was open by a good 2 yards about 20 yards downfield......and Freeman overthrew him.I know you hate the guy for some bizarre reason, but he looked good when he was in there. And I don't play in any gay fantasy leagues, I'm just a Bucs fan who was at the game today.
