Teavana.  Just started using the stuff and I like it.  Chick asked how much I wanted so I'm like "I'll take 4oz of this 6oz of that, and let me try 2oz of that"  How much will that be like $20 (smirking at the absurdity of someone being stupid enough to pay $20 for less than a pound of tea).

I believe he placed the tea bag lovingly in the tea professional's care for a short period of time, but I'm hazy on the details.

Grabbed a canister at Teavana for our God daughter at Christmas time. No price on it of course. Stood in line forever whole this early twentiesish couple in front of me took their time choosing about 6 or 7 teas. I should have known how much it was going to cost me when the total for the couple in front of me rang up and the girl squealed "Look, we saved $160!"

My small canister rang up at $45. I completed the purchase since I: a) had already waited so long in line b) couldn't think of anything else to buy her and c) felt dumb standing in line that long, having it rung up, and then having them cancel the sale.

Ended up splitting the canister in half and giving half to her and keeping half for myself. It IS good and has lasted quite a while, but sheesh. Should have bought way more tea in Taiwan while we were there.

I refuse to go to Teavana anymore because they stopped carrying samurai matte. It had dried pineapple and other fruits in it and it was fantastic. I was appalled that they no longer have it and the counter girl tried to sell me some Oprah Winfrey signature tea.....and she just wanted it in my face without asking ( smelled like a fat woman an hour out of the bath on a very humid day) and I decided to never go back.

I was there the other day and the white iced tea on the menu caught my eye, even though I only drink black coffee and don't really drink iced tea. This has reinvigorated my interest so if it sucks you owe me $2.50.

And no I didn't buy the tea to get the attention of the chick working there.  I think I'd have had to drop a few hundred to do that.  And dropping a few hundred on tea "leaves" would look weird as ####.
