Someone want to explain to me how this guy has a job as an analyst on the NFL Network?
As unwatchable as anyone in Sports Media ever.

when did he work for nfl network? They need to bring Emmitt back.
I like the noise he makes when somebody makes a nice cut.I'd like to hear some opinions on Chris Berman, and whether or not people are tired of him.
Deion is the worst. Sapp is a close second.I like Sapp and Irvin but I know I'm in the minority. The one guy I can't stand is Deion.
I have no idea. Maybe you could enlighten me sensei. The "they" was referring to the NFL media in general. He was awesome!when did he work for nfl network? They need to bring Emmitt back.
WHOOP!I like the noise he makes when somebody makes a nice cut.I'd like to hear some opinions on Chris Berman, and whether or not people are tired of him.
Watching the NFLN in July is like a cry for help.why do people watch this?
it's tiring enough just to watch the actual gameplay on sundays/mondayys
And this answers the question as to why we watch it.It really is sad to watch NFL network these days. I remember watching back in 2005 when Rich Eisen and the two other guys actually did analysis. You could find out useful information on the mid week pregame shows and even ESPN's NFL Live. Now it's all about who can be the biggest jackass while some hot broad stands off to the side.
At least he didnt murder the ratings. Too soon?At least he's not Rae Carruth.![]()

That's awesome. Honest to God, I didn't even notice it. But Ditka should be a ceremonial brother in this case.

Read the second line in the OP sparky. Sports Media just might be more inclusive than just NFLN.The thread starter was writing about NFL Network, you nitwit.I have no idea. Yeah,.,...I was really referring to the idea that Sapp is the worst ever anywhere. Wouldn't matter who was employing him.3C said:Read the second line in the OP sparky. Jerry Rice was a host on Sirius NFL for a minute and it was embarrassing how bad he was. Not only was he worse than Emmitt Smith, he was so bad that I was unsure if he actually ever spoke the English language before.Yeah,.,...I was really referring to the idea that Sapp is the worst ever anywhere. For sure. ESPN started that horrible trend. I remember Prime Time used to have tons of game highlights where the highlights for a game were like telling a story. Now, it's like they show no more than four or five plays from most games and the highlights last no more than 20-30 seconds.HughHoney said:Does anyone else find it annoying that these guys get more air time than actual in game highlights? All these pre and post game shows are just old guys talking, more football please.

I really do want Emmitt back though. I miss things like:
- "Eli Manning has been given the rice of passage."
- "The way you perform make them feel about you different."
