I know its stupid but my league wants an outside source to review all trades and accept them or decline. We have had trouble policing ourselves in years past. For last 2 years had a guy from footballguys take care of it, but I cant get ahold of him. So... would anyone be willing to be our trade reviewer?? I would be very grateful. This would be for the whole season. WE have 2 trades that went through todau that are pending review. I will IM the 1st guy to accept the job the details.

Thanks,

Tuff

So, your league is OK having someone you engage to deliberate over these deals?

Seems like a kooky bunch of owners.

Just sayin'

Ok back story a few years ago we had it set u where league voted on trades and it worked out ok until people started vetoing for spite Then we agreed to have commish do it but couple of guys felt that commish (which I am not) would have too much power. So I suggested the outside source As dumb as I think it is it has kept our league which is ultra competitive running smoothly just with extra work fir me to try to find someone to help me out.I'm open for suggestions to end this madness.

Why don't you utilize an agreed upon website's trade analyzer and allow a trade if falls within a certain parameter, say 5-10 points?

I have an idea:

LET OWNERS RUN THEIR OWN TEAMS.

Period.

At the start of the season (after CJ had signed) if someone in would have tried to trade Chris Johnson for Beanie Wells, they would have gotten laughed at. Or what about Steve Smiff (CAR) for Vincent Jackson? Cam Newton for Vick? Ryan Fitz for Flacco?

I'd suggest an Assistant Coach forum poll for every trade, majority vote rules the day.

ETA: I suggest this mostly because it would be more amusing for us, and would serve the owners right if a weird vote occurred in the process.
