Anybody have inside info on him, whether he's nursing an injury or just in a real bad funk? Is he in any danger of losing his starting job if this continues or will Texas give him a chance to ride this out? Just worried about my 2b situation right now, as I only have Cano backing him up.

I don't think there's been a right one to start! Cano's been on my bench for two weeks now, I hope one of them wakes up soon. We might as well just flip a coin.

It's more like crashing and burning back to earth. Granted I didn't think he would finish the season at .340 with 45 hr's, but his average is down to .220 for cryin out loud. I know guys level off at some point, but I was hoping it level off around .280 or so, not the mendoza line. Hopefully he'll get hot again and get the avg back up to where it should be, at least.

he crowds the plate and thus can't hit for nothing when they pitch in tight to him, scouts have picked up on this and are using it against him.

Now would be the time I traded for him......all that happened was a market correction of sorts....he will still hit around .290 with 20-25 HR.

thxfor the response. i get the mkt correction analogy, but he's got a 30 day avg of .165! i'll re-evaluate when kendrick comes back; with a deep wire, it is less of a risk (we don't even have the CI/MI positions)

wasn't he on pace for 100 HRs? the law of averages states he was going to get cold.

he's still a decent 2B, but the "problem" is that there have been so many good 2Bs this year it's easy to move on, esp in a 10 teamer.

I've got K Johnson and Phillips and I can't move either.

Kinsler is having one of the greatest seasons in Ranger history. If not for Josh 'Wonderboy' Hamilton, Kinsler would be the story for the Rangers.

He was not even KEPT in my big money points league before this season (keep 8 majors/2 minors). Took him #3 overall . Whooping this league by 200+ points for the past six weeks.
