***Official Texas Rangers 2012 Thread*** (1 Viewer)

The Astros currently do not have anyone signed for 2013 making over 5.5Million if I'm reading BP right. I don't know who they plan on offering arbitration to or the expected results there. I've only heard of 2 people on their team.

Would Josh take a giant contract from a team that most likely won't contend while he's in his prime? I keep waiting for the Mariners to spend some smart money to pair with their pitching staff. They'd probably be better off signing a guy like Bourn instead.

Nice win to get the Magic Number to 3. Huge win.

2 of 3 against LAA and if Seattle can take one in Oakland would be perfect. I do not want Oakland to have any hope of winning the AL West that last series.

At this point I'd rather play the wc game. Win it and face the Yankees, lose it and be put out of our misery. Not too excited at the prospect of having to face Verlander twice in a 5 game series.

Thank you ESPN for sending me a text telling me that Hamilton and Washington exchanged words in the dugout after Hamilton's error. That was necessary.

You are kidding me..............catch the ball.

Last night top of 8th Josh is leading off and we are down by 1, and he's up there laughing with the catcher before a big at bat.

He can take his act some where else. Sign Upton and use the extra cash on a middle rotation guy for a couple of years.

I think it's safe to start the offseason thread now.

Offseason priorities are

Fire the following people into the sun

-Hamilton

-Young

-Kinsler

Find a way to get the young guys at bats and find someone to replace Colby's production until if and when he ever returns.

Coolbaugh needs to go.

I think you're overreacting a bit (although certainly not with Young).

The market will send hamilton away.Young (I think ) has only one more year and until mid-season he is a Ranger.Kinsler is going to be the guy we complain about for the next 3-4-5 years. Even the "good" Ian is way too inconsistent and that's just going to get worse. Extending that guy when you had the top infield prospect in baseball was not smart. Washingotn survived coccaine usage, he is not going anywhere.

I would like to at least get past Friday before throwing in the towel.

Yu is starting, and I actually feel pretty good about that game.
