My team:

Bye.....QB:

5......Jay Cutler

6......Chad Pennington

Was going to go with 3, but kept just missing the ones I wanted and didn't like was was left late.

...........RB:

6........Frank Gore- having a great camp and has a schedule that looks very friendly. 10th RB taken

7........Ray Rice- 28th RB taken

8........Larry Johnson- 23rd RB taken

4........Jonathan Stewart- 25th RB taken

Need these guys to stay healthy with no multiple games missed due to injury. Good camp reports for the top 3.

............WR:

8..........Randy Moss- 3rd WR taken

9..........Braylon Edwards- 14th WR taken

8..........Antonio Bryant- 21st WR taken

6..........Josh Morgan- 41st WR taken

5..........Earl Bennett- 44th WR taken

9..........Chaz Schilens- 54th WR taken

9..........Sidney Rice- 70th WR taken

Good camp reports on most of these guys. Need the young ones to come through and they sound like they are so far.

............TE:

9...........Dustin Keller- 11th TE taken

9...........Randy McMichael- 17th TE taken

Both should get a lot of targets and have no bye weeks to deal with.

..............K:

9............Rian Lindell- the plan all along was to take 1 kicker and I think Buffalo will put up some points this season.

..............DT:

7............Jason Jones

6............Jay Ratliff

Both these guys can put up multi sack games

..............DE:

9............Jared Allen :excited:

7............Cliff Avril

9............Trevor Scott

5............Bobby McCray- Will Smith and C. Grant suspended 1st 4 games.

I really like all these guys and should see plenty of sacks among them.

...............LB:

9.............Bart Scott

9.............Will Witherspoon- 32nd LB off the board

9.............Eric Barton

7.............Tavares Gooden

5.............Shaun Phillips

6.............Joey Porter

Got some tackle guys, some sack guys and the unknown in Gooden. No bye week issues.

...............Safety:

9.............Kerry Rhodes

9.............Tyrell Johnson

10...........Michael Johnson

4.............William Moore

5.............Atari Bigby- 44th safety off the board

Changed strategy and went with 5 after missing on a 3rd QB, TE and Moore's injury.

...............CB:

5..............Antonio Cromartie- Took as the 11th CB, can see him with A LOT if ints. with Merriman back.

6..............Terence Newman

9..............Brandon McDonald

8..............Leigh Bodden

6..............Sean Smith- Big rookie with long arms and good hands. Slated to start as of now- rookie corner rule.

Maybe Bloom will be kind enough to give his thoughts on the draft of the ones that post our rosters here like he did last year. ???????

Happy to:QB: should be fine barring a bomb from one when the other is on bye. Not a position of strength, but passable and set you up to have strength elsewhere

RB: Love to top 4, but why no backups? Jene set this up weird so that we have two flex players on O, and only 1 can be a WR. Rice will look like a steal by October. Survivor makes LJ and Stewart better. Like you said, cant afford any injuries.

WR: love moss as a #1 in this format. reached for Braylon, but no bye justifies that. I like that you took a cluster of boom/bust guys at the end Bennett-Schilens-Rice - only need 1 to hit. Morgan was a steal.

TE: Nice combo because of no byes, so not taking a third wasnt terrible, but you could get hammered at one flex if your RBs dont pick you up.

DL: love the group, Allen is a stud, Scott was a steal, anything Avril and McCray is gravy. You have to invest well at DL in this format, and you did.

LB: nice strategy with a couple of sack artists, a cluster of no bye guys, and an upside prospect. Like me, you didnt feel the need to take any studs here, i like it.

S: I dont know about taking 5 here (or at CB), maybe could have used that extra pick on O. Not to mention that you have three safeties with no bye. I almost would have considered rolling with just rhodes, johnson, and johnson. Moore was a wasted pick before the injury. Bigby was nice, but maybe unnecessary.

CB: love the cromartie anchor, Bodden could be a steal, but again I think 4 was sufficient. You will need top 3 scoring from your secondary to justify this strategy.

all in all good drafting, no major missteps, and you clearly took the format and scoring to heart when you put together your strategy.

The MFL website is confusing with respect to the IDP flex setup. It says 20 starters, but the commish setup won't allow to set the IDP flex up as the offensive flex sets up so it looks like things don't add up properly. We'll have 20 starters in this league. On offense, it's QB/RB/RB/WR/WR/WR/TE/PK with one RB/WR/TE flex to total nine starters. On defense, it's DT/DE/DE/LB/LB/LB/CB/CB/S/S with one flex at any position to total 11 starters. Also, this is an all-play setup this year rather than survivor.
