I'm down with the pumpkin beer. (1 Viewer)

Tried a peach beer the other day. It created a gag reflex.
I had a pretty good Peach Sour Ale a few weeks ago...and a decent Peach IPA @ Cigar City...other than that I don't think I've had a peach beer that I liked much.

There are some really good ones out there.

Arcadia Ales Jaw Jacker. I feel this one wraps fall up in a blanket, and beats you with it Full Metal Jacket soap in a Towel style. In a good way

Pumking by southern tier, also solid. It has nice pumpkin flavor without being overly spicy. Too many people mix up the subtle taste of gourds with the mixture of spices typically used to enhance them.

Punkin ale by Dogfish head was mentioned a few times in here, also a fan of that one.

Post Road, made by Brooklyn Brewery is a great example of the classic pumpkin ale. Still drinks like a beer with the pumpkin pie flavor mostly in the finish

I like them. Dogfish Punkin is pretty consistent. That Northern Tier one, Pumpking is okay in small doses, it's a little too sweet.
way too sweet

tastes like your eating pumpkin pie.
Definitely wanna share it with people. It has heavy floral nose, but high alcohol content so that really enhances its sweetness

Got one case of Sam, variety pack with harvest pumpkin and October fest. That's probably going to be the extent of my pb consumption this year.

Tried one again today, tasted like spice beer :X

The ones that people say are "good" are just too sweet to be beer.

I'll pass.

Quez, how's the Good Gourd?
I haven't really tried any other imperial pumpkin beers besides Southern Tier PumpKing & Southern Tier Warlock. Compared to those two Good Gourd is better. I really like the Pumpkings, but the Good Gourd is just better.I grabbed a few more Pumkings so I wouldn't drink my last Good Gourd. I'm gonna try and hold off until the end of the month at least.

That's what I don't like about most of the ones I've tried but the Dogfish Head is a subtle taste, not overpowering or too sweet.
