I'm just not feelin it this year. (1 Viewer)

I'm in a keeper and a re-draft league, both 12 teams and 9 of the same owners. The re-draft league started in the mid 1990s, the keeper's heading into its 3rd year.

Last year the re-draft league was filled with arguments and name-calling....the keeper, with a little different league chemistry, was amicable and great. I was commish of both leagues but resigned the re-draft commish job midway last season due to too much finger pointing.

This year, the new commish was lax in getting things moving, and some people had to really push him. One dropped out after exclaiming " I thought this league was defunct." Regardless, I spoke with a few others, and many others felt the same -- lackadaisical (including myself) - about the re-draft league. But everyone was jazzed about the keeper, despite many of the same owners and a similar scoring system. Why?

I dunno -- maybe it's just the fact if you draft poorly you can be cooked in a redraft FF league in 4 weeks? AT least in the keeper you can build up with NFL-ready players (unlike in fantasy baseball) quickly.

Regardless, the re-draft league has lost a lot of its luster despite being in my existence for over a decade.
